Times journalist currently doing a live transfer talk online syas this about our deal to sign Bony...

"My personal opinion is that he is very short-term and he is pretty expensive. But if he wins them the title then they would say it is money well spent, especially if they recoup some money for other players.
A few other points on him though
Man City constantly told their local reporters - like James Ducker- that they had no interest in him, as recently as the end of December.
Chelsea could have had him for very little as he was at Vitesse and they of course have links there.
West Ham's owner wanted him badly and they gave in to their manager's demand for Carroll. Read between the lines.
Other clubs looked while he was in Holland. Maybe they had some concerns about other things."

Wonder what he's hinting at there then?

This is like saying we could have had Messi from Newell's Old Boys

Hindsight is just that...hindsight

Make no mistake...Maureen is gutted we have Bony

What an absolute pile of fucking cack that piece is !

We didn't tell James Ducker! Lol. So fucking what ??!!

Chelsea could have had him from Arnhem cheap as they have contacts there ? Well they're a bunch of fucking clowns then aren't they ! He's a proven Prem scorer, so if they'd signed him, he would already have paid for himself !

What a desperate attempt to put a negative slant on City signing a player Chelsea would love to have.

We wasted £38m on Aguero when the rags could have had him for a few quid whilst he was a foetus.

That's Chelsea as in the team that paid £21m for Matic, having given him away to Benfica (plus a similar sum) in exchange for Luiz?

Can't believe he gets paid to write that crap, there's millions out there that can do a better job.

Do you mean the same geniuses at Chelsea that bought Matic for £21m a few years after letting him go in a deal for that quality Kompany-esque defender David Luiz????

Can't wait to see this guy in a City shirt scoring his first goal after a slick pass from Nasri, Navas or Silva :-)

Better Still, It would appear we havnt got to worry about him being cup tied for FA Cup, as he was left out of Swanea's squad in 3rd Round.

Never mind that, at least he'll be available and in the squad for the Arse game on Sunday.

Or a long hump upfield from Joe would do as well lol!!

Bony will need to be sat in row G if he's gonna get on the end of one of Joe's long kicks!
