You've got De Jong on less than half that and he still puts a shift in for team every single game he's called upon.Carl_Man_City said:hes on fucking 200k a week!!! And your telling me it was because his fitness levels aren't good enough to play 2 games in 4 days. Behave!!
I'm sick of Yaya Toure and I hope Mancini has the balls to drop him and teach him a lesson. No work rate at all. He should be picking the ball up off the defence, knocking a ball and moving again. Picking it up again and playing another pass yet he occasionally makes a decent run past someone then strolls back. They played 4-5-1 tonight so there's no room for one of the centre mids to be lazy and slack off. Get into them and give them no time on the ball.
Spot on!!ultimateharold said:I think some people are clouded by the 2 or 3 fruitless runs he made. He was constantly out of position on defence, leaving Barry and Nige struggling. His attempts to get back made Micah look like Usain Bolt.
Tevez was doing the work of 2 men, as it appeared Yaya was the advanced midfielder but offered very little. I really want him to come good, but 12 games in is a substantial part of the season, he needs to show his worth.

Milner was off well before 89 minutes mate

Toure has an automatic place right now, and it's clearly nothing to do with form. he should be dropped until he earns his stripes in this team, let him come off the bench for the last 15 mins and show he warrants a starting berth.
I don't really care what he done before at any of his clubs, right now he is being asked to play as the most advanced central midfielder of a three, and he is a square peg in a round hole in that position. For me he has deep-lying midfielder written all over him, a kind-of deluxe-water-carrier, he should be competing with Nige and Barry for a spot. Milner or Silva can carry that central berth that appears to be his right now.
And another thing whilst I am ranting, looking at the table right now, a GD of +5 is nowhere near what is required, continue at this rate and we won't rise above 4th this season. It needs addressed, be it formation or the people in it.
