Today's the day when Man United have declaired they cant live with Manchester City, they finnished 2nd to us last season and had every opportunity to deliver in the transfer market to push on but the board at the club has bottled it,there only interested in preserving a champions lge spot to keep revenue flowing, no challenge and thats pathetic from the so called biggest club in the footballing world, Like a boxer on the deck whos being counted down he just stays there because he knows its over, Ladies and Gentlemen this is Manchester United

I think the truth is that the club have lost faith in PEG and are aware that he is unlikely to last the season. They are keeping their transfer budget for the new guy.

It’s fucking hilarious to see what they’ve become. Given their size, it’s about as low as they can realistically go, lamentably.
If utd were in a film currently it would be a kids movie produced by Nickelodeon. The film would have just gone past 2/3rds of the way where they and their nasty methods all come back to haunt them with the goodies looking on. The school bully getting bullied themselves or similar theme :-D

Has anyone heard of the Q-Anon conspiracy theory? it's been in the news lately. It's basically this conspiracy that explains away all of Trump's insane, but easily disproven lies, cock ups or mistakes as being part of a big masterplan.

Reading the United forums lately I get the feeling there'd be a lot of cross over.

Everything their dear leader says is explained away. "Oh he was only insulting Shaw to upset the media, Shaw said he's nice sometimes in person". "Oh he's only said they're going to have a bad season without signings as part of his #mindgames". "He's really just protecting the players when he says they're shit, old and overweight".

They find these increasingly bizarre and convoluted ways to claim he's not being a miserable twat, and will in fact lead them to glory once again. It's genuinely a bit scary how quickly they'll abandon reason to defend the man because he's their manager, as soon as he leaves they'll go back to hating him again.

It hasn’t been a happy camp for some time and Mourinho is to blame for this. They should have fucked him off.

Imagine Woodward listening to him rambling on about how they need a CB after the shit they served up last season and when they have 5 already!

If Pogba throws his dummy out and Sanchez is as bad as last season then they are in for a shit season.

Here’s hoping :)

Sadcafe are as depressed as RAWK is giddy, the only thing they agree on is they're both standing in the shadow of one club.

One question sticks out like a sore thumb to me and i have not seen one utd fan ask it either...

When they gave Mourinho his new contract, what was the discussion or was their one? There is every single possibility this was a corporate only decision; the suits look at being second and decided Mourinho is good for top 4 consistently. Their money charts gave the thumbs up so that was that. I find it hard to believe he just got this new contract and Woodward was oblivious to the coming storm if players were not acquired. I mean a simple outlining from Woodward of the future and Jose could have said "err stop there a second Ed".

The only other thing i can think off is Mourinho just nodded not really caring for their plans. He may have just had the new contract in his mind knowing the cost to get rid of him so signed whatever the conditions knowing full well he was going to start hassle.

When asked about their on-pitch performances/ambitions, Wood² said to shareholders; “If I answer that just very simply and candidly, playing performance doesn’t really have a meaningful impact on what we can do on the commercial size of the business,”. So there you have it. The Glazers are happy as long as the club is making them money.

Yep, the club has turned in to Arsenal and the fans have turned in to dippers.

bottom line is they have fallen on their own sword they had a manager who won everything under the sun and for all that time didnt look beyond his departure, the board want instant success and the fans do and the manger does, peg would not have taken that job if 2 years of transition was mentioned but this is the only way they will fix what they have created, you cant keep pumping money at big named players every transfer window, a lot of this is down to city because we are now number one in manchester and they don't like it so more presure is on them to go out and win things and the more presure the more they want it and fail

So to summarise: they're up shit creek sans paddle.
