Is this your wake up moment? Are you a remainer now? A bit late but welcome onboard.
I am still in favour of leaving albeit slightly, but not if it means the takeover of the country by the hard right. That is what we might be seeing, the endgame of Thatcherism. A choice between that and remain, remain all day long. The damage a hard right government free of EU restraint could do to the country is unimaginable. It will be the biggest ever redistribution of wealth from poor to rich the world has ever seen. Johnson is dangerous, he is not a one nation Tory, he is a hard right Tory at home with the monsters in the ERG. Britannia Unchained as advocated by The Thatcherite Free Enterprise Group members Patel, Kwarteng, Rabb, Skidmore and Truss could become reality, it was in this book that they described the working class as amongst the laziest people in the world. They envisaged an Hayekian Britain with few labour protections modelled on Singapore. They are Free Market Anarchists whose belief in them is ingrained in their psyche. The class differences and inequalities in income and power that result from private ownership enable the interests of the dominant class (THEM) to skew the market to their favour, either in the form of monopoly and market power, or by utilizing their wealth and resources to legislate government policies (Cronyism) that benefit their specific business interests, in other words Corporatism, much beloved of the hard right lunatics of the 1930's and 40s
This is a quote from the book Britannia Unchained
“The British are among the worst idlers in the world. We work among the lowest hours, we retire early and our productivity is poor. ...............…..the British are more interested in football and pop music.” Factually incorrect nonsense of course.
This is from people of privilege bringing their anti-working class ideology to you, courtesy of the Hard Right Johnson and a Tory party that includes these people and the ERG monsters.
I am certain their will be bucket loads of Champagne on ice in the City, this is beyond their wildest dreams. Ker-Ching, Ker-Ching.
I am marginally in favour of leave, but not this leave scenario. A scenario that the working class have been conned into voting for because of hard right propaganda the likes of which the master propagandist himself would have looked on with envy.
Don't you all just love a bit of Rascallian hyperbole :))
