Because Levy is more interested in his ego than the money for Spurs? Because the Glazers have cut some deal with Joe Lewis? They are all buddies in the NFL franchise world. Didn't the same thing happen with Modric? He went 12 months later. Spurs will probably get £100m next summer and save a bit of face. We will probably find out in the next 12 months.
