This is the funny thing with there net spend, it’s all built on there best players wanting to leave and being held to ransom. All our best players for the past decade have stayed and left for free way into there 30’s, it would be hilarious if lane and salah leave for free by running there contracts downThink Liverpool buying Jota and now Diaz need to get money for either Salah or Mane mainly mane! Letting them both leave for nowt what there owner would want.

I struggle to see how FDJ would be complicated if we’re to meet their valuation, which seems doable to me. They already leaked a number and seem to have a replacement ready. Only politics could get in the wayI don't know who it is either!!

If we look at that player in isolation, the argument is he is more of an 8 or 10, rather than a six.
Which means Pep and City are open to the idea of a player who can play the variety in midfield.
Rice can't play 8 or 10 and is an outright six, so can only rotate with Rodri.
Bellingham, FDJ, certainly fit the criteria of the former.
I believe we might yet sign two midfielders.
Kimmich would be a great addition, but Gravenberch in, Kimmich out isn't great business from their point of view...

in that case can only see it being Bellingham / Rice
nothing else really comes to mind in terms to people getting pissed.
Bellingham due to his obvious talent and if we are getting rice that would mean us spending silly money and that pissing people off

I dont want him anywhere near our club personally not even on a free but it smacks of Pogba as at least in tersm fo status he is bigger than FDJ (on the pitch is debatable but off it he certainly is)......and when it comes to pissing people off, Pogba is a rare talent!

Id have him in a heartbeat, however to say peps relationship was ‘frosty’ is putting it mildly…
