PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Changing the rules again lol. Everton have been informed!

I wonder what the next set of bullshit will look like.

1. Only teams in red can spend.
2. Only teams who have won in the 90s can spend!
3. Only teams with yank owners can spend!

the rags need a rebuild, chavs need their dodgy Russian laundered hidden. The dips have a new stadium on the horizon way, yeah right!!!!

You can shove your bent rules up your bent backside. Fuckers.

New rules are changed from piss & shit(P&S)to MCFC pissed on your chips -:)

You have many valid and yes justified gripes but sorry this potentially isn’t one that City or WHU come to that would get an sympathy

The G14 ( which ironically was in the end 18 clubs) was disbanded around 2008.
We Chelsea were invited to join but declined . It’s quite amusing because this pressure group which only included three team from England ( Utd, Liverpool & Arsenal ) were the ones who first floated a Super League
Chelsea applied but were turned down.

ManUre were offered the stadium, but preferred to stay at the iconic Old Toilet.

With a new Wembley in the planning, the government decided they didn't want another stadium to compete & undermine the success of a new Wembley, so the CoMS plans were reduced from a £150m 80000 all seater stadium, with a retractable roof, to a 38000 all seater stadium, without the retractable roof.

CoMS was redesigned so it's capacity could be increased if needed to around 60000, but the retractable roof was dumped in the bin. £150m was deemed too much for City, but what was the eventual cost of rebuilding Wembley again?

The North ALWAYS gets the shitty end of the stick from those in the ivory tower of Westminster.
Would you have really got 80k and retractable roof for that money ? That sounds amazing. Would have put us well ahead part of me thinks a big stadium with retractable roof would be better than co op arena

Chelsea applied but were turned down.
When it was Initially expanding for 14 to 18 Ken Bates wanted the Club to join but time after time mainly Bayern blocked however when RA shipped up the group were planning to expand even further but the club decided “ not for us”

Taxpayer cash may be forthcoming to fund some changes to the rail infrastructure or transport or whatever but personally I can’t see any cash being given to actually upgrade the stadium.
For one; I read that a ‘can‘ the gvmt is kicking down the road is the need to refurbish the Houses of Parliament. The need is desperate and a paltry £20b is needed to do the job properly. The rail network is failing, HS2 still needs its truncated resolution, power generation plant is desperately needed, the motorway network is a basket case in places. There is a menu of gvmt infrastructure spend projects like hospitals (remember the new 20?..), schools, and the promises to keep on Northern rail infrastructure etc etc before a bailout is gifted to a multimillionaire tax dodger.
The country is financially bankrupt.
in my view if the swamp is redeveloped/rebuilt funding will come from private investment with associated debt with the payback to investors coming from the housing that’s created.
Burnhams just seeking an angle to help the development of greater Mcr. He’s a chancer and it would be wise for him to remember that a decent percentage of the folk he represents hate, or could not give a shit about the scum.
If you want a view on Coe read about his interest a few years back in the plans for the redevelopment of Chelsea stadium. In similar vein Scruffy Jim is using the playbook he used when he was interested in buying 50% of Barcelona.
Burnham, Coe, Scruffy Jim, Neville et al - just a club of charlatans.
Off topic but they should build a new parliament in Midlands or Manchester. House of Commons and Buckingham Palace are both basically falling down probably along with lots of other old official buildings which cost a fortune to fix as they need specialist stone maisons etc to keep them in keeping with how things looked 100 years ago etc. I think parliament is full of rats leaking pipes asbestos and dodgy wiring

You may be right.

It needs a mixed speciality action group, NOT a COMMITTEE

'One volunteer is better than nine pressed men'.

I'll help if I can.
Agnelli, President of Fiat: “Whenever a difficult thing needs doing or saying always make sure you take into account the opinion of an odd number of people. And always make sure that number is less than 3”.

Sounds like Old Toilet

In 1999, the 75000 all seater Milennium Stadium with its retractable roof cost £121m to build.

CoMS with 5000 extra seats would've cost £29m more.

We essentially got stiffed to protect the status of London based Wembley, for no other reason than the government didn't want an English stadium built using government funds to compete with the £800m Wembley, hence the North of England got stiffed... AGAIN! ¯\_(⊙_ʖ⊙)_/¯

Been on about this for years, that would do more for 'leveling up ' than a half finished HS2 .
Oh and while we are at it get rid of the Lords for an elected chamber.
Sorry back on topic. Can't wait for the melt down when we get our Legal Expenses back, and an abject apology from the suits at the FA.

The FA haven’t charged us. Yet.
