Stupid little things that bug you

Gluten-free sausages.

I get that there are some people who are gluten intolerant. Some are completely celiac and can have no gluten at all. Great, so let's offer SOME gluten free sauages. But no...

I used to like sausages, and now the ENTIRE industry is only offering gluten-free sausages made with e.g. pea flour. You can barely buy any sausages with gluten in them any more. All the own-label brands - Tesco, Sainsburys, ASDA, Morrisons, Waitose, Lidl, Aldi, M&S - ALL of them are now gluten-free. The few branded sausagea are gluten free. Maybe you can still get decent sausages if you can find a butcher that makes their own. But that's like what 0.1% of the market.

Gluten-free sauages are NOT the same. The texture is all wrong and they taste different. I DO NOT WANT GLUTEN-FREE SAUSAGES! I like gluten. Please for the love of god, will someone in the industry still make gluten based sausages.

The media wankerfest over McIlroy every tournament.....other golfers are available.

It's almost a mirror image of all things rags, always being front and centre.
It's a media disease known as Beckhamitis.
Yeah he's definitely milking it.
My primary school dinners were usually excellent but about once a month for pudding we would get prunes and custard. Disgusting.

I drove 4 hours home yesterday so that I could take care of the grass and garden beds.
I only have today to get it done and some **** has parked a big truck and landscaping trailer along the curb outside my house and fucked off.
I want to get the weeds alongside the curb with the weed strimmer.
Probably some cock jockey that's renting a house on the next street over with 12 other cunts and no parking.
If it's still here tonight I'm jizzing on his door handle.

Not too long ago supermarkets would do stock replenishment, stock checks and click and collect at night but now they do it during the day and it's become an obstacle course with so many trollies blocking access to chiller cabinets and even open shelves. Pain in the arse.
This is a pre-cursor for a compo claim isn't it?

People who don't display their house number
You'd hate rural Ireland. No signs with street names, no streetlighting outside of the local town and no house numbers. What we do have are eircodes (the equivalent of the UK postcode). The difference over here is that every property has an individual eircodes, whereas (from memory) the postcode in the UK covers several adjoining properties.

Uk postcode covers on average 25 properties.

I'm with you on this one, does my head in, a simple trip to the supermarket/express type shop, is 99 times out of 100 spent climbing over cages and shelf stackers.
The amount of artic trucks parked up outside the express shops in the daytime is also a pain in the arse, but hey they are saving on having to pay night staff

The exact centre of our postcode is in the middle of a field about quarter of a mile from any houses. If we win the postcode lottery, they're going to have to search around to deliver my big cheque.

'What 3 words' is accurate to the front door.

My local Tesco has been replacing all the freezer and chilled cabinets, complete chaos for weeks as they move products to different locations. A member of staff I know, told me it was costing the company mega bucks.
Went shopping today and all is finished and calm, problem is, their new multi-million pound freezer cabinets are so "steamed" up you can't see through the glass.

That many? I wasn't aware it was that high. The eircode system was introduced 10 years ago and is, in my opinion, one of the best developments to be introduced in recent memory. And Google maps works with eircodes as well. This is the eircode for Croke Park in Dublin....

And much underused by clowns who live on long rural roads where houses have names but not numbers. Yes, the postie knows Arsehole Cottage is between Vermin View and Wombat Palace but general delivery drivers don't.
