As I've said before & got endless shit for, I believe that the injury situation & the struggles the team has had are all part of a complete lack of planning (or management) by Pellegrini.

Regarding injuries, I've been repeatedly shouted down when mentioning that, for at least a year, maybe more, we should have been using kids regularly & getting them on the pitch, in order to supplement the squad. This would lessen the fatigue, physical & mental, of the first team squad & add much needed energy & enthusiasm to the whole setup.

We saw yeseterday, in a game where we were struggling like fuck & had gone to pieces, that Celina was able to come on, cope with it, & actually look better than some of the senior players, & produce the best cross of the game. He was able to 'do a job' for the first team. That doesn't mean he will become David Silva, he might not make it at all, but it does prove that he doesn't NEED to be David Silva, in order to come on the pitch & fill a position. He was able to do that & make a better contribution, than Silva actually did on the day. That is not unusual in football, it's bog standard.

He is one of about ten or more kids who could imo do the same, & many could have been doing it for at least 12 months. He is nowhere near the toughest, the fastest nor the best performer in the past few seasons, amongst those kids. Yet he was able to come on in the middle of that fucking farce, v a grafting team of adults & pass the ball perfectly.

Imagine how many hard slogging minutes where players pick up strains that contribute to injuries, could have been eliminated by introducing a few kids late in games ? Imagine if we then found one or two were actually quite good & could use them more ? Maybe even a matchwinner or two if we're lucky ? Pellegrini has been lazy, unadventurous & incompetent in this respect & it has made our club less efficient than it should be.

Now that's gone & we find ourselves in this fucking mess he has created, hows about he accepts we are struggling (especially with Silva injured again) & decides to actually MANAGE the fucking team, to get some results ?

How about he puts out a balanced FIT team, with a game plan & a defensive shape in order to COMPETE in games, both tactically & energetically, insted of believing we are Real fucking Madrid with Zidane, & can just roll ever **** over ? Do what normal managers do, look at the oppo, put out a solid, well drilled side designed to hurt them AND TO STOP THEM, & see if Aguero etc win it for us ?

Or does he just think that Lecester, Stoke etc have better players than us & therefore can outplay us on any given day ?
Ex-fucking-actly!

Balls. I've never seen you post about playing kids. Stop lying............

Well I thought I had but perhaps I'm wrong.

I'll have to make sure I mention it more in the future.
Hahaha...... it appears your comments, for quite some time now, are suddenly being taken on by others!

I really don't think the issue is just with the defence. It's the way the team is set-up and it's fairly obvious to most what's wrong. Even my pet budgie could have picked a better starting 11 yesterday and formation. The team has lost it's direction and some players just aren't up for the fight. Leicester definitely deserved the win and good luck to them. It shows what a good manager can achieve, with a set of players most of which wouldn't even get near our starting 11.

Isn't that the truth.

In fact if you think about it, before a ball was kicked this season, I would say NONE of their players would get in our starting 11. Now, off the top of my head at least 3 or 4 would.

And conversely, at the start of the season, every single one of our starting 11 would get in their first team. Today, how many would? A few, sure, but equally there quite a few players in our side that Leicester, yes Leicester FFS, would not have in their side based on current form. Good God.

About 2 of the top of my head but bench first for sure the way we are play

Still trying to work out what our plan was yesterday pass pass give it away get caught on counter without a holding midfield player there to break up the counter! Pass pass pass create space out wide then have nobody even in the 18yr box to pick out! Don't press there back 4 when in possession because all there going to do is kick it dead long over our paceless back 4 for there fast forwards! Halftime team talk" right just keep doing what your doing and we'll be fine! " I know we need a holding midfielder on and another center forward but I'll wait until they go 2 up! "And whatever you do do not start winning 50/50 challenges or even 70/30 in ur favour!

Not making any excuse for a poor performance. Well done to LC well deserved BUT.

I wonder where Barcelona would be without Messi, Suarez, Iniesta and Pique PLUS (other injury problems) all out for LONG PERIODS periods of the season. I guess the best manager in the world would struggle. City have been crippled with key players being out - yes it sounds like sour grapes but its FACT. This squad fully fit with minor injury problems would have had the title won in March/April. By this time Aguero would have been close to 30 goals and we would have conceded very few goals with a fit VK. Thats football sadly. There would be no talk about Pelles tactics because we would have been scoring for fun..it was not to be. Im as pissed off and frustrated as all Blues are.

The injuries have been manageable until this game and will hurt us now but in all the other lost games, we have had plenty of talent available and on the pitch.

Injuries are hurting us but Pellegrini isn't helping. We were shit for much if last season too.

Not with our clueless manager

Why did Zaba not stop the cross coming in ? Why did Yaya pull out of the 50-50 with Kante ? Why did Kolarov give that stupid free kick away ? Why did Dimichelis not get to the free kick first and actually defend it properly ? On the list of our current 100 biggest problems, Joe Hart is probably at number 99. Best GK in the league.

Yes we have bigger problems than Hart. He does OK but is no where near the best in the league Butland, De Gea, Schmeichel , Cech and LLoris all better that's just off the top of my head. He does not catch a cross, parries the ball directly in front of him often and cannot kick. Also seems to not pick up long range shots in open play for some reason and has lapses in concentration. Great on one on ones though and does some great saves for the camera.

Agree with you to a point but I think Pelle is an easy scapegoat. Ok he is not criticism free fair enough but without your top players and other important injuries your options become very limited when fighting on 4 fronts. and expecting the same 13/14 players to do the business week in week out. It aint gonna happen. Would be interested to see how Pep would cope with the same problem.

I guess he will give some of the younger players more of a chance than Pellegrini has in lesser games like the CO cup and FA cup so that when an injury crisis happens, they can step in with confidence and do a job. That is at really big negative from Pellegrini. I do accept that injuries are part of the problem though.
