I had the same thought when seeing him up close at Luton, seriously big unitI was surprised how big Akanji is close up, like you say a right unit.

I'm in 119 and you can hear the Kippax corner, south stand, north stand and third tier, great because you can join in with whatever songs are being sung :)I'm in 121 and always try and make a noise. It's an interesting part of the stadium as you can actually hear both parts of the south stand so if it goes well where we are you can help to link the two parts of the stadium.
Certainly think the West Ham attendances are fiction. There are always masses of empty white seats at their home games
only 3 times?! We’ve had plenty of electric atmospheres. Loads last season in particularwhen this new stand goes up,somebody somewhere has to figure out how we can get a better atmosphere I can only think of 3 times it’s been electric at the etihad
Not sure I agree with that.when this new stand goes up,somebody somewhere has to figure out how we can get a better atmosphere I can only think of 3 times it’s been electric at the etihad
You can never ever go off TV, it's all about volume control. In some instances they can mute songs altogether with unbalancing the mics.
The clearest songs were Sun was right murderers and always the victims. Wonder if there’ll be the same kickoff about it we get?I’m watching the biggest match in English football. Arf! United fans singing, but only their singing section. Liverpool haven’t sung at all until they scored. We don’t need to beat ourselves up about our atmosphere at the Etihad, honestly.
We were also decent in the league game this season at Newcastle with only 3000 there. For what it's worth, it was the exact same when we took 5,000 to St James Park in the league cup.
We were far louder than them, and we were the ones singing about their shit support after 20 minutes.
It's the exact same with any set of away fans in the cup
Because our away support never really cause any problems. SHame it can't be said of the other lot you mentioned. How come we always play Liverpool at home on a sat morning but at Liverpool it’s always Sunday afternoon
Apparently they hit a new low at OT yesterday lobbing flares into the disabled section, just when you think you've seen it all. They have been whinging about tragedy chanting again, they bloody invented it. Say this for the rags fans they had them bang to rights years ago, personally never needed telling was at the 1981 league cup semi, they've not improved since.Because our away support never really cause any problems. SHame it can't be said of the other lot you mentioned.
yeah not many times since we moved there....much betterI’ve noticed Walker in recent weeks turn us around so that we’re kicking towards the SS in the 2nd half. Finally.
