Well now that we are free to compete in the Champions League next season. I just wonder how small the clubs of Livarpool, Chelsea, Arsenal, Man Utd, etc. must feel today. They all must feel pretty small. Maybe UEFA should send them all a bill for their share of the costs for that CAS hearing.

All we need to do now is to go and win the Champions league so we can ram the trophy right back down their throats, so to speak.

I think that was based on City's perception of how it went, not knowledge of the actual verdict.
We proved where the money came from, we explained the out of context emails and clearly felt they had the panel on side. For UEFA's part they didn't back their allegations with enough evidence and some of them were time barred. I'm not in the legal game, but I can imagine our lawyers were quite literally pissing themselves over dinner at the end of the trial. We knew it was done, and tipped a wink to our dipper friends when they came to visit.
