Does that mean that the medical is already done and we'll announce the signing once they've released the official statement or is it that we can't even proceed with the medicals and other stuff unless that happens?

Juventus will officially announce that they have terminated Dani Alves' contract today, freeing him to join Manchester City. [@romeoagresti]

Hopefully this will get done soon

I'm guessing the latter. The last I heard Alves was on holiday somewhere.

Suppose he could have a medical overseas, but it's unlikely given it's not even July yet so there's no major rush
