Stones,Dias,Akanji, Ake,Gvardiol, Pussey. How many more defenders do we need? Maybe a right back but we don't need any more defenders. We need 2 CMs and at least a new AM.

We have issues in defence for sure but more pressing needs elsewhere at this point in time…

1st priority a DM (even if a loan/temporary stop gap). We just cant go on thru the rest of the season without one. Its suicidal.

2nd priority a AM/Back up to Haaland. We have low creativity and if Haaland goes down with an injury we are deep in the brown stuff. Cunha could be ideal, can play in 3 or 4 different positions!
 
Ake has hamstring issues that aren't going to disappear. Pussey is way off being considered a reliable option and Dias has had a fair few niggles and top it all this season still have to find a way with Stones too to try and adapt to his injury. An extra centre back in this window would be prudent.

Get rid of Stones, cant be relied upon
Probably can get rid of Ake fir the same reason
Gvaridol is our only option at LB

So really it's Dias, Akanji and Pusey

So either get a LB to push Gvardiol into CB or we need to buy another CB

How many DM’s are regularly available? Thats the answer to the question. Defence needs work for sure but its not as desperate as 2 or 3 other areas within the team, so will have to wait for the summer!
 
They are hoping he will stay just to play CL games . Registration only applies to La Liga I think.

Don't think that can be true. It's his registration rights that have to held by the club and filed with the national association or federation.

A player has to be registered nationally for them to play in the champions league.

Registration for a squad place in national league competitions is different from registration rights.

It's not a deal we should be pursuing anyway.

Pep says you are wrong he said a defender and a midfielder. Think a good full back frees up enough players to cover defence without resorting to Walker.

Upset Barca. The lad doesn't want to leave and will sit in the stands till this is resolved.

Imagine believing we are doing Barca any kind of a favor when we had their pants down for Ferran Torres and somehow lumped them with Eric Garcia.
 
So its on the player not Barca (this time)....his loss and tbh it shows that he doesnt have the personality to be here.....He isnt a player that will fight and Ive said that before about him.......no loss and move on to find a player that will...
