The best player in Germany. The best young player in England and some real energy and legs in midfield, finally.

Plus it's like we've effectively signed three of the most promising young players in the world too in the three promoted lads. Said it before, but if we'd bought all three of them for £15m each we'd be a lot more excited than we currently are.

This is a great, great window. We're gonna batter some teams this year.

I'm guessing but these are mega deals arent they, stands to reason there will be complications especially if other clubs are on the pull too.

Even if for some reason we don't get Paul Pogba it will still be an immense window if KDB rocks up

What subterfuge?

You mean not making a massive public show of us making an offer and them rejecting it?

The only time you see that is when clubs are politicking - see liverpool re Sterling.

Most business is done privately, hence why Everton are so pissed off with Chelsea about Stones - they told him he wasn't for sale, and then Chelsea made public their bids, to try and generate some public discussion and turn the kid's head.
 
It's almost like the rumours that we were waiting to shift players out first were actually true ha. Fancy that.
 
Absolutely brilliant news. If Pellegrini can buck up his defensive structure and get kompany back to his best, I believe we are on the brink of something very special indeed. If not this season then next season with a certain Mr Guardiola at the helm.
If we were offered De Bruyne, Sterling, Delph, Roberts etc and the promotion of some youngsters who genuinely have the potential to be special before the window began this place would have gone gif crazy.
This is such an exciting time to be a Manchester City fan.
 
With a front four of Kun, KDB, Merlin and Sterling we will have by far the best attack in the league. I remember we beat Arsenal 6-3 a couple of years ago. This season it will be about 9-4!

Now all we need is to plug that hole in front of the back four.....
