no but an increase in cars in reference to the number of people coming into the country is a nonsense, as the point is more and more households have more than one car now than say 20 years agao

So you don't think suddenly importing thousands of people into the country is going to have any effect on congestion? Right ho.

Someone said that you and others with your incessant banging on in a manner that is so patronising and condescending have likely pushed undecided voters towards Leave. I think that this is likely right - and is in common with the outcome of Gideon's approach - not a very successful debating outcome. The rub is that it is a referendum and the vote of any one of those pathetic weak-minded people carries the same weight has yours.
As mentioned before remain has gone from 40 to nearly 45 in the last 100 or so votes so if that's true your boys with your conspiracy theories, ignoring facts and getting over excited about immigration have shifted 3 times as many. That said if I'd have shut up maybe Brexit arguments would have put off everyone and it'd be 50:50 by now?

It's a damn shame that people 40-49 years old don't get to vote ....
I think this is going round in circles now with a week to go, most on this are already pretty much decided either way and doubt anything is gonna change their mind within a week.
Latest polling averaging out various polls

Remain 43%
leave 49%
Undecided 8%

Also interesting graphic in the FT on the demographics of the 2 sides

Although it is missing some sections of society (north west ans 40-49 age range for example)
Basically the older or less educated you are the more you move towards Brexit they younger better educated the more remain seems to be the story.

well I see you ignored my first point about the failing to invest in our infrastructure, I never mentioned building on green belt land and cannot see why you used that example. I don't know about kent much but I use the public transport system in manchester and it is normally full of what you call imports as well as the elderly and working class local, the low paid. These are people who probably don't own a car, so no I don't think thousands of people arrive in the uk and then all start driving around.

I'd be interested to see if education is controlled for age. Many more young people have degrees.

I'll change my vote at the top to remain if you shut up for the rest of this thread.
