Favourite curry

i have one of those microwave rice cookers had it years , works brilliantly saves are fortune cooks in half the time as normal stove top rice tend to have a lot of chinese dishes when i use it or italian

I was working in Plymouth in the summer and stumbled upon the Himalayan spice restaurant on New street just off the Barbican. I chose the 3 course meal deal for £15 and had the house lamb curry on the recommendation of the waiter. The curry was medium strength but the flavour was fantastic. one of the best I've had anywhere and I have eaten many curries all over the uk. One of my favourites is a chicken Karahi.

Try Eastern revive or the swadesh for a good spinach curry in Wilmslow mate, the chicken tikka Labourda (sp) in swadesh is to die for as is the tandoori salmon
is that the one where franny lee goes

It's the satisfaction of making my own for me and I do a big batch to freeze a few portions, once you've got the spices they pay for themselves and store well for ages. Spot on about the rice, you can buy enough for a week from any supermarket for the price of a pilau etc. chuck a tin of coconut milk instead of water brings it to a new level.
Quite correct you cant beat making your own .im just off to make a Bombay bad boy pot noodle
