We've had a 3 year hiatus mate, and my focus is more on getting us back to being a proper football team using tactical innovation with the work rate to match, over racking up more CoC's trophies. This is the way it should be! Less pressure more pleasure, "all things come to those who wait".
What the first two matches this season have shown is how unfit, comfortable, overweight and unmotivated our squad had become under a manager who just wanted to be everyone's best mate and be loved by all universally.
To make an omelette you have to break the eggs. This is exactly what Guardiola is now doing with the difference being he has the full support of the clubs hierarchy as opposed to the zero support Mancini got.
Its a dangerous game you play when you allow the lunatics to run the asylum, it looks like Guardiola has returned Hart, Yaya and Nasri back to their padded cells and given notice to the rest of the squad to shape up or prepare to ship out.
I couldn't be bloody happier!
