I think we cope with injuries nowadays without a blip in performance, where before we were stressing if we ever lost Yaya, Aguero, Merlin or Kompany, but now we are a true squad, rotation is the norm for everyone, and if someone like KDB gets injured, the others step up.

The thing which a lot of people overlook with Kane is his link up play.

He can drop deep, hold up the ball and pick a pass. He’s the perfect mix of a proper number 9 and a false 9.

That’s why I think he is the striker best suited to the way we currently play.
