I think management could see his dip in form and offered Wright a new deal. Expect to see him in net before too long
You clearly weren't watching when he had a go in goal when we played chelsea in america

Stupid threads like this make you feel like smacking your head into a brick wall... repeatedly.

Joe Hart is England's Number 1 and the GK at the heart of the Prems best defence for a few seasons now. The only weakness in his game is kicking, which I put down to youth... 3 years time and he'll be regarded in top 3 in the world. He's a work in progress at the moment and I feel that at some point in the season or next Pantillimon will take the jersey for 3-4 games (not because of injury) but I expect Joe to do what he does best in anytime of adversity... come back stronger!

The only thing wrong with this is the fact Hart won't work harder because he already thinks he is the best in the world

he will continue to make stupid mistakes and people on this forum will keep defending him and for the record kicking isn't his only weakness he has a problem covering his posts ie the RVP goal last season imho

He needs to seriously start getting a grip of his game again. Was largely shit last season, and has started
this pre season in similar form. Last nights effort for that first goal by Scotland was laughable. Panti
will be starting a lot more matches this season I feel.

Christ alive I dont think any goalkeeper on earth would of got to that

Appears to have gone downhill from around the time Roy Keane said he was too cocky. There is no doubt his form has dipped, his distribution has always been atrocious.

We'll see if the new goalkeeping coach a t City will improve him. The way things are going it will not be a surprise if he loses his place at City and England, until he gets his form back at least.

When a striker misses an easy chance, it's soon forgotten. When a keeper concedes a goal he should of saved, it's scrutinised much more on replays. Joe has recently let in a few goal he should of saved, simple as that, but i'm sure he will learn from mistakes. All top keepers make mistakes and Joe is no different. Some of you clowns really need a lie down in a dark room. Pants over Hart? Better still, let's throw Joe Hart to the lions and get Perry Suckling out of retirement!

Some of you need your heads testing. The terms "largely shit" and "atrocious" do not apply to any part of Joe's game.

Overall he's a fine 'keeper but he's got a few bad habits that need ironing out. That's it. Nowt serious. Maybe just a change in approach to training for a while 'til those mistakes are forgotten about and moved on from.

He's probably got another twelve years at the top and he's heading into the late stages of still being a young 'keeper. In the next three or four years it will be good to see him be a fully rounded 'keeper.

He may have lost confidence because of the way Mancini treated him. He may be suffering because of outside influences or he may just need to be brought down to earth. Replacing him for a few games may force him to get his act together.
He is not at his best. Fact.

Also, what about Rickie Lambert's horrendous error in missing an open goal from 6 yards??? Brushed over as he scored a goal, but equaly as important as any goalkeeping error but this morning he's the media darling. For me the guy should have scored a hat-trick but goalkeepers mistakes are always highlighted more.

Didn't seem too much wrong with his distribution last night! myth

Does he kick out of play 80% of the time intentionally? I have wondered.

Strange that no-one has even bothered to mention, that it was indeed Joe who helped set up Englands 1st equaliser, with his delicate chipped ball out to Cleverley.

It appears you are only as good as your last game. He was outstanding against Brazil

Yes but when you have fans claiming it was his fault we lost the FA Cup final what chance do you have of reasoning with them.

Any young keeper can have ups and downs in form and Joe has been very good for us overall. However, Joe now has a lot of experience and will know his form over the last 12 months has not been good enough.

Joe's behaviour to force his way into the FA Cup Final Team means he will no longer get the level of support he enjoyed in the past if Joe is letting in soft goals.

Not talking about isolated incidents. If he doesn't kick it out of play then he kicks/throws it ,at pace, to a full back who struggles to control it and becomes under immediate pressure.

Forced myself to watch utd once to see what van de sar did. Usually lumped it straight down centre field rather than Joe's diagonal out of play kicks.

He might feel he should have done better, but it was hardly a howler.

The ball comes late through a crowd with pace and bend. Very difficult.

The criticism is ridiculous

You're spot on with your comment, the closing down was late which actually blocked Hart's view and the ball dipped. Yes, he'll know he should have done better, but then so should the defence as a group. No way was it a "howler"

The criticism in the press is to be expected, the criticism on here is a bit of a surprise.
