Jude Bellingham

last season he had much more attacking role, arriving front of goal etc. now with arrival of Mbappe who does not work hard off the ball Bellingham has been asked to cover much more defensively and he doesnt like it clearly and also plays further away from the goal.

wonder how Real will solve this issue as Vinicius, Mbappe is just poor out of possession and now they have more limited deep midfielders as Kroos retired and Modric fucking hell almost 40 years old.
Exactly. Madrid had fuck all midfield. Bellingham is a runner not a passer. Crap at providing control but good at getting in dangerous areas.

I have said before, Bellingham cannot pass. He has no idea which ball to play. No imagination at all. He is absolutely NOT the right man to play 10 for England, maybe a no 8.

Think the dismissal of his passing ability is a bit of a reach personally. He does have a decent range on him at times. Mainly for England I've seen him play some nice balls in behind defences so he does have some vision.
Would agree though his greater strengths lie with his power, running ability and he is pretty adept at picking up dangerous positions. You don't score the goals he's scored without having that nous.
You can not like the character but be honest about his actual ability as a footballer.

The older he gets, the less running he appears to do. He's done some pretty decent impressions of Rashford recently.

Apparently it's Rudiger who he had the bust up with, if they fought to the death I wouldn't lose any sleep over it :)
As much as I despise Rudiger I’d wager he’d pull bellend apart. He’s a little fish in an ocean at Madrid. Not sure that’s his preference. He’s got rag written all over him when Madrid fuck him off which they will.

Here's me thinking I was in the Transfer Forum....

Ok.
1. He’s a decent number 8
2. He’s still a twat.

I watched a lot of Jadon Sancho when he first went to Borussia Dortmund. Early on in his career there, I went to watch them for my 40th. They were playing Augsburg, won 4-3 and he played really well. I got the bug for German football and can't stand Bayern so watched a lot of Dortmund on BT Sports. I found that he looked exceptional when he was up against Augsburg, Hertha Berlin or Darmstadt but not so clever (almost anonymous) when they played Bayern, RB Leipzig or any decent opposition in the Champions League.

Then he came onto the national scene. He did well in a few England matches against Macedonia and the like but again, disappeared when England played anyone of note. Those early England matches made the nation sit up and take notice and I heard many a pundit tell us all how he was THE man in the Bundesliga. You get to a stage where you begin to doubt what you've actually watched with your own eyes because they're ex-players being paid to give an opinion so must know more than me. Then you realise that they probably haven't watched a single Borussia Dortmund match.

When he was coming back to the Premier League, I had reds all around me telling me they were signing the new big thing. I was delighted when he signed for them. Look how that turned out.

I feel the same thing could be happening with Jude Bellingham.
All i keep hearing from the youngsters about all the new superstars is his stats are off the scale.
Like u i say watch with your eyes they dont lie.

So why do consecutive Managers select him for Club and Country ?
Because he's currently one of England's best players in that position and as he's at RM which certainly gives him an advantage for being selected

My issue with Bellend-ingham, is that it's all about him. He's not a team player when it comes to England
His lack of dedication as team player was summed up when his number was mistakenly on the board for him to be subbed and he pointed at himself and said "no, not me"

If he dropped that Billy big bollocks attitude and became a true team player, he'd run games and potentially become world class
He needs to find an inner KDB instead of competing against Mbape and Vinicius to be the world's biggest footballing twat

I gave up defending him a while back on here as the onslaught on him is ridiculous- Bellingham is simply a team player, he’s integral to England and Madrids success in recent years - his goals and assists confirm this. He’s a great talent. People obsess over personality and if they don’t like someone they tend to be totally unrational and look for negativity wherever they can find, I’ve seen this happen agaisnt Sterling and Foden also - it’s shit how much young English players have to face.
