Feels like the Labour Party is eating itself at the moment.
Thornberry to win then, last person standing:-)

Has she even got enough backing yet?Labour leader by default.
What times we live in.
Has she even got enough backing yet?
Rayner on the Marr programme doing a very good job of sounding even thicker than RLB.
They have gone into complete fruit loop mode, each time I hear the remaining candidates, all I hear isLooks like the position of each candidate on transsexual rights is key if they want to win support.
I’m not convinced it’s a political hot potato for Joe & Josephine Public though...

a claim that the manifesto was great, Corbyn was sound, and transgenders will be allowed to declare themselves
as whatever they want. If ever there was a complete breakdown of reality, the Labour party now typifies it, and it's only
a matter of time before they become an irrelevance. That £3 a pop membership stunt from Miliband has screwed
them good style.
O'Brien's rant was delicious, he's another patronising lefty that believes his way is the right way, and resorts to ridicule andthey never learn but more worryingly don’t want to.
I listened to captain smug O’Brien’s show the day after the election and it started off with him doing his usual smug patronising long speech , sharing the airwaves with his superior knowledge, but he was different he did say the left need to learn lessons from this as to why traditional voters are turning their back on labour and invited people in to air their views as to why they had lost
30 minutes later the whole show had turned on its head basically saying labour policies were right but the difference they didn’t have a leader who is prepared to lie to the electorate in order to get elected. Totally became Tories are fascists Boris is a racist, rant rant.
no attempt to learn any lessons whatsoever from the election. The leaders are all banging the same “right on” drum , transgender rights , politics in the middle east and Corbyn should have a seat in my cabinet.
it’s a cult. The electorate don’t vote for cults.
before you say it they do vote for cunts
Trans rights is seemingly the only topic in town.
At what point do they debate what is needed to be done within the party for them to even begin to challenge again?
I saw something on BBC News last night, it was Tony Blair talking at some event for 120yrs of Labour.
I didn’t catch it all but he said it if one Party is campaigning on Trans rights’ and the other on Immigration. The one campaigning on immigration will win every time and the other party won’t be able to get in to enact the change they want
Seems pretty obvious to me. Campaign(not necessarily on immigration) on topics that are a concern to the public on a whole rather than, for want of a better phrase, fringe issues
Is this really coming to an end? It’s far too short a process. I have barely heard from the candidates on the issues.
it seems to me they are rushing this leadership election through. Perhaps they should extend the timetable a bit longer, may be another 6 months.
what we need is more leadership debates on our TVs of the 3 candidates all saying the same thing for another few months. It’s fascinating stuff.
