No brainer for me, easily take the league.
No one remembers who made an appearance in the CL final unless they won it.
You'd have to have a screw lose if you'd rather take an appearance in the CL final over a PL title.
Winning the CL though? That's a whole nother question, and a more difficult one to answer.
League always. CL is just a shinier FA Cup.
Being the best team in the Premier league is one thing, but being the best team in Europe is another. From a purely aspirational/achievement point of view, winning the Champions League is a different accomplishment. You have to do well over 38 games to win the league, but really to win the Champion's League you only have to 'win' a minimum of what? 4 games? assuming you get to the last 16. I'm not diminishing it at all, but it's a strange dynamic to win a trophy.
No. CL is the ultimate competition in club football and the standard to measure where a club stands in Europe. Whether we fans hate the CL or its seedings is irrelevant.
