Spot on! I think she died because of the parents negligence in some way, with them being doctors they especially knew it would ruin their lives/careers so they hid it all by inventing some kind of kidknapping story! There are so many aspects of it including interviews with the parents that were dodgy and the (portugese) lead investigator always has/still does suspect the parents!

Now they are after more money to carry on the 'search' a.k.a. their nice long holiday on all of us!
 
It certainly doesn't make any sense to me whatsoever that a child trafficker would take Maddie but leave two smaller children in the apartment

As horrible as it sounds, its like a car. Stolen to order. Why take a baby/toddler when your order is clearly to go and find a 3 year old little girl?

Ok but if the parents knew she's been abducted then why did they leave the other 2 kids in the apartment to go and alert people back at the Tapas place, if your child had been abducted there is not a CHANCE you would leave the others unattended.....unless of course she wasn't abducted in the first place!
 
As pidge posted, if the couple were from a council estate, he a labourer, she on a checkout, the social services would've taken their other kids from them. The sun would have vilified them, we would all have branded them as scum. But no they are doctors, live in a nice big house in a nice area, so they definitley must not be held accountable in any way, for leaving those little ones alone while they went socialising.

Thats an unanswerable question. In the face of shock, people do things which they wouldn't do in hindsight. All I know is it would be nigh on impossible to keep as composed as they did infront of the cameras, especially Jerry McCann, if you knew you had done something as terrible as what people think they did. Ok, that **** Huntley managed to do it, but he is an animal. It baffles me why people think anything other than this is just a tragic child abduction case.

Surely if they were abducting a child you would take the baby as its appearance is more likely to be similar to that of other babies and also more likely to change meaning other people wouldnt not be likely to recognise who it is?

Two things (I've not watched that series of videos and these questions may be answered in them)

1/ Wasn't there a pipe or some kind of excavation work going on in the immediate vicinity of the complex? I seem to remember this was highlighted by the media as a failing by the Portugese Police. They let the construction work carry on and a pipeline was buried.
That would explain where a body could be hidden.

2/ Did an independent witness see the child an hour and a half before she was reported missing? If not, then again, it would give someone alot longer to dispose of her remains
 
I've never trusted the parents, but it seems too unbelievable that anything could have happened apart from an abduction, and the parents should still be done for neglect, what kind of parents leave a door unlocked? However who knows? It is a bit weird that even if a door was unlocked that somebody should happen to be a trafficer walk in and take one child, rather than say a thief.

I saw that Karen Matthews case a mile off as a fake and there is just something I didn't like about this one.
 
I think they left the kids alone, she woke up, went looking for her parents, got run over by a drink driving local, who panicked and put her in the back of his car and buried her in his garden. Simple and plausible.

And washed any blood or damaged caused on the road without anyone seeing
 
1) there was babysitting facilities at the resort so why leave the children unattended?

2) I don't trust the parents, something is not right and the reason more questioning and invetigation isn't put onto them is because of the working class doctors thing.

3) The publicity they developed for the whole thing would probably have cost them any chance of finding her alive because any abductor would probably have killed her as hiding her or selling her would have been impossible.
 
Demand from the McCanns for a review by the government on the same day they admit the money is running out.

If she was alive, she'll probably have changed so much nobody will be able to recognise her.

And she was that young she'll probably believe the people that have got her are her parents.

Hate to say it, but I think the poor little girl is dead.
