Just have to be wary of balls over the top. We are a bit vulnerable to this type of football and that’s all they will have as they rarely score from open play. In four games they have scored twice from 2 penalties.

It's going to be a very interesting game, as someone pointed out the Rags can't afford to sit back as any dropped points now really hits there top 4 hopes. Likewise we need to win the game, as such i can see this being a very open and attacking game. The fact that they have shipped 7 goals in the last 2 games without being able to notch a goal themselves can't be overlooked either, if we go ahead they will be tested mentally. The more I look at this game the more i am leaning towards keeping Sterling on the left and putting Mahrez on the right to allow Bernardo to drop in the middle, that said i see no reason that Foden shouldn't start either, he did well against Spurs and there is an argument that he should keep his spot.
Hopefully its open like they played against West Ham

Whilst we have had a difficult schedule, remember they were chasing shadows in the Nou Camp for 90 minutes that chasing(being generous) Everton in the boiling hot sun for 90 minutes on Sunday. We have had a bit of a break so hopefully we will be able to go full strength

They will be looking to keep the ball out of play in the first half as much as possible, less the first 2 minutes when they will have a run around so it could be good prep for the Burnley game

Pep Guardiola on KDB: “He was injured, another one and another one. He had two or three muscular problems as a consequence of his knee. He has a lovely family so his life is well-organised. We’re going to speak with him, the doctors to make sure he is safe and fit.”

PEP We will see if (KDB) can play one or two more games and next season take care of him. We are going to speak with him, with the doctors and physios to make sure he is safe and fit. Thats what we are trying to do from now on.

Pep Guardiola on those questioning the appointment of Solskjaer: “I am close to Solskjaer, I understand his position. We are alone, we feel alone. It is the reality, we have to accept it. If not, stay at home. I understand him and I am with him. I support him.”

Pep Guardiola on United’s poor form: “I expect the best United tomorrow, I am sure. They are proud. Prepare the game as always, their strong points, their weak points and try to win the game.”

Pep Guardiola on @ManUtd: “It’s important that the club is structured well, like here, but I won’t comment on what happens at United. This club has grown a lot in the last decade, it’s not scary to go to Old Trafford anymore but we have to play at our best.”

Sane has to play. United's main threat comes with the overlapping of their full-backs, which is why I think we need to keep them more concentrated on Leroy and Sterling.

We will need extra legs in the midfield without Kev, so Bernando and Dave for me.

They have zero technique playing out from the back, so press has to be perfect.

Main concern for me is the long ball over the top from Pogba. Spurs used it effectively on Saturday but didn't take their chances.

If Pogba picks up the ball deep we either need to press hard or drop off 10 yards at the back.

We could just play Otamendi who seems our best defender against that ‘ball over the top’ option, which seems to confound John Stones whenever it is employed...

Dave doesn’t have those legs anymore,id pick Foden.

that is the significant quote for me and why we should win with our superior workrate and talent

An update on all things United, just what I wanted from a City press conference.
