Next Captain

The biggest mistake Mancini made this season was not giving VK the captaincy when Carlos put his transfer request in. I don't know what went on behind the scenes but not taking the armband of Carlos sent the wrong message. VK shows all the characteristics of an ideal club and team captain and I hope he keeps the armband from now on.
 
Even when Tevez comes back he should not be captain, Vincent is our leader.

I don't think vidic gets intimidated to be honest, and I didn't see it like that. In another vid posted showing all the behind the scenes stuff you could see Vinnie and Vidic talking to each other before the game. I think there's a little smile to each other when they're swapping club badges, clearly a lot of mutual respect there.

VK is the man to lead us to glory. Can't wait to rid Herman of the captaincy, it's becoming a disgrace that back to front head is our club captain seen as he can't even be arsed turning up for a semi final derby. At least that will come to an end in the summer and King Kompany can become our captain.

Haven't read the MEN (don't unless it's free) so didn't know that Vinnie had done that before the game. Wonder what was said and why? Maybe he offered his sister to any potential goalscorers?
 
Vinnie is totally awesome and I would love him to be Captain.

He was at the Bredbury OSC's meeting on Wednesday. He was asked what the players thought of the fans doing the Poznan and they thought it was brilliant. He was also asked to get the players, Mancini etc to do the Poznan when we won which he did (so that stops the confusion about him or Lescott) :-)

Tevez is a joke of a captain which ever way you look at it. The lad can't speak a word of the queens ffs.

Vinnie has everything. The best CB in the world and a born leader. Let's be honest would you fuck with him or nige?
