Fair enough. As I say I've never been, just used to watch the cricket there for many many years before we moved.Re Fields of Gold - Each to their own but we did this last year and it really wasn’t good. Quality of the tribute bands was pretty poor, beer hugely overpriced and literally opened from a box in front of me.
Wouldn’t recommend personally.
I hope so.Can’t be to far away from announcing the 2026 tour, if the rumours are true.

Jealous I missed it.Dublin on Saturday night was possibly the best gig I've been to, and I've been going for nearly 40 years.
Incredible vibe, the whole north inner city was like a giant Oasis party. Atmosphere was joyous, strangers arm in arm, the streets outside packed with people trying to listen and having their own parties, the band were truly superb, and a Poznan of 80,000 was something I never thought I'd see in Ireland.
A weekend that blew all the cynicism and exhaustion out of me. Pure fun. Like the 90s.
I'm damn near bankrupt but I'd do it again in a heartbeat..
Yeah, exactly this. The atmosphere was lovely.. everyone just enjoying themselves, whether they were in or out of their heads, or selling cold beers and bucket hats from their doorsteps, or sipping pints outside every pub for a square mile around the stadium.. not a hint of bother.Jealous I missed it.
Hopefully not long until they're back. However it probably won't have the same buzz as these concerts if they do come back next year.
From following all things Oasis on social media recently a few things that have struck me are firstly the amount of younger people who wouldn't have been born when Whats the Story came out, who are fans.
Also the friendly atmosphere in the crowd. In a world full of misery and division at the minute, this is rare.
Went to see Queen there in july 1986. Found the venue disappointing. The concert had to finish in daylight, as the venue didn't have floodlighting back then. So the light show was negated by the daylight. And (being an Irish summer), it pissed down. Plus, it was a nightmare to get away from afterwards. I get the fact that it's an iconic Irish venue, but I was very unimpressed with it. Croke Park would be the better venue these days.Slane is a bit of a nightmare, travel-wise.. but a good venue if you get the weather. Hard to beat the noise generated in the bowl of a stadium though..
Couldn't argue with that.. saw The Verve and The Rolling Stones there on different years. Underwhelmed on both occasions. It's just TOO big maybe. And at the Stones, we spent most of the gig trying to stay on our feet and not get washed down the hill in a river of p'ss, mud and sh!te.. the stage was miles away and the busses back to Dublin were even more miles away..Went to see Queen there in july 1986.
