PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

I read the original piece you have quoted here and it convinced me; I was sceptical at first, naively believing UEFA would not stoop to such depths. We actually obeyed the rules for mitigation as they stood at the time but they applied the amended rule to our already submitted accounts.
A rare case of Stefan getting it wrong? Your explanation here of your researches is further back up.

First time I’ve read it and I thought the opposite tbh!

And teams like Leverkusen don’t mount sustained challenges - their manager and best players will move to other clubs at the end of the season. A bit like when Leicester won the league - most of their better players moved to bigger clubs and they never competed for the title again.
Bayern have often creamed off the best players from the other German clubs, often for free because they blatantly encourage them to run their contracts down. Kuntz

Serves em right for investing to improve the team and club cheating bastards, only Utd, Liverpool and Arsenal are allowed to do that, rest should just be happy for any scraps that fall from the table.
I’ve read that they’re interested in Paquetá - better Start saving now

The PL is going to eat itself from the inside. Hope Newcastle launch a legal challenge and im an Everton fan.

Let’s see if the PL go back to the United‘s Chevrolet deal?

2012.

The General Motors executive who agreed a record shirt sponsorship deal with Manchester United worth a staggering £175million has been sacked. Global marketing chief Joel Ewanick was axed less than 48 hours after it was announced the Chevrolet badge would be emblazoned on the United shirt from next season.

The $600m Chevrolet-Manchester United sponsorship deal was a "no-brainer, former General Motors global marketing chief Joel Ewanick says in a report today in Automotive News.

Ewanick was dismissed within weeks of the announcement of the Manchester United deal. A spokesman at the time said that he "failed to meet the expectations the company has of an employee."

The TeamViewer one was even more inflated.

something like 10% of their entire revenue iirc.

Too far back that mate unless it's in blue

Probably just have to sell Watkins, Douglas Luiz and a few more as they head into their first CL campaign.
On the cheap aswell because the red tops know they’ll be desperate for cash and every other club in the league can’t spend any money so they’ll be no bidding war !
