Yes, as the ruling body if we are proven to have done no wrong, they should be saying that the investigation was necessary but they are glad that it has finally been proven that no wrongdoing took place.
Of course they will actually say how disappointed they are with the panel’s decision in that case, then string a load of negative caveats as to why it had to be done and waste 10’s of millions.
It’s like our owners fit the description of someone who should be “stopped & searched” the police will say if you’ve nothing to hide what’s the problem. Well, they found a need to introduce the protection of harassment act to prevent repeated, unwanted conduct, including from authorities.
