I saw one poster on her asking if Lampard had ever actually been officially announced for NYCFC, no seemed interested in answer him so I will, you decide:

Thanks, so in 2015 then (no date mentioned) ?

Sometime after May I expect.

PS - I did ask earlier, but I'd like to know from both yourself and the other NYCFCFanxx. Would you confirm which English Premier League teams you follow, just in the interests of curiosity of course, because you do sound a little like fans of a certain club over here.....
Funny, doesn't that one in the middle say "kick-off 2015" and show a picture of David Villa and Frank Lampard? That's a date to me.

BTW,

I honestly don't follow any European teams, I watch games here and there in the offseason but that's about it. You can count on one hand how many teams can buy, I mean, win the championship every year in all the leagues in Europe. No thanks.

Actually I asked if he had ever being announced as going to be there at the first game rather than just "in 2015".

And the answer is no, he was never announced to be there at the first game. Read the small print next time Buzz
New York City did say when he first moved that he would be back with them for pre season.

You're right it does, but I don't think it says these two will be kicking it off though, even though one probably will.

So if NYCFC win the MLS in their first season, they won't be "buying" the championship then, think carefully before you reply though.

I'd like to hear of a team that hasn't spent money to win a title, plus should your beloved mini mcfc win a title I'm sure it will be headed by a overseas signing on big money, ie David Villa or He who shall not be named

Longish time Man City fan ( went to my first match the season before Keegan took us back up) and charter member of the Third Rail - fan club for NYCFC. I'm also head of marketing at our company and I would lick a badger's ballsack to get this kind of press before my team even kicks a ball in anger. Also, what better statement for the quality of your team could you have than the champions of arguably the best league in the world begging to keep one of your players to help them repeat? 90 minute match, folks.
this is a great point, when bbc northwest, did a report from new York,r e the forming of nyc,,the ignorance was astounding,,you can not buy publicity like this, maybe just maybe, the city group have played a blinder here,

Re: Frank Lampard (staying until end of season confirmed P11

So NYCFC fans don't want the owners to spend money to try to be successful?

We'll keep Frank then, ta very much.

Re: Frank Lampard (staying until end of season confirmed P11

Fucking hell, talk aboot an overreaction. He's not Messi is he? And let's get it right. NYCF will be a shit team with three decent players. That's how it works over here.

Perhaps they will and perhaps it could be considered buying a championship but last year the final was Salt Lake vs. Kansas City. That would be like Burnley and Everton finishing top two. This year, Toronto spent a league leading amount of money on their squad and didn't even make the playoffs. So its definitely a tough thing winning an American title. You know who is actually a good coach and who isn't real easy here.

The more they hurt the better it is, well done all concerned at the club for wrapping this up, Wenger, Maureen (and his attack dog Barclay) and the other assorted c**ts who cant go more than 2 sentences without mentioning money (Colin, Arry, Fat Sam et al) hopefully will go into full on whine and whinge, fuck them, fuck them all. Happy New Year you bunch of c**ts, stick it in your pipe and smoke it.

Their salty tears are making my hangover all the better.
I like you.

and me.

fuck em.

I'd like to add bitter fans of NYCFC to the list of people this has upset. Unlucky. They seem to think that they are more important than the flagship team of CFG, and that the MLS is more important than the flagship league for the group. Their behaviour is like Asda going over to the states and telling Walmart how they should behave and how they should run their business, like they are more important than them.

Glad to see Maureen has already had a moan, sad **** that he is, Barkley will no doubt be following suit in the coming days. Wenger was too concerned with his own fans attacking him today to have a moan, but i'm sure he will have something to say soon, i hope so, it will warm my cockles mid winter to know he's hurting too.

Hmmmm salty tears.

Just been on the nycfc forum for around half an hour and its sad to see the affects of too much steak and interbreeding can do to the human race.

Your ignorance is truly astounding, I can honestly tell you don't watch much football. Because it's a 'level' playing field you know who the 'good' coaches are. Funnily enough you can tell that in football in Europe as well. You're trying to argue about football with fans who watch football week in week out. Just enjoy whoever you get to see play over there, your club exists because of us, and for god sake you'll get to watch David Villa week in week out... He's won a world cup you know.

Without knowing much about American football, I think he's probably right. After all, how many teams at the start of this season had a realistic chance of winning the Premiership? City and Chelsea. In Germany, it's nearly always Bayern. In Spain it's a two-horse race.

I'd say that's more due to the widespread ability of teams within the MLS being bang average.

Wow an MCFC fan calling someone else "plastic", how cute.

I'd also like to end the notion that we have a club because of Manchester City. Its false. We have a team because of Sheikh Mansour, who seems like an alright guy.

And I don't think its in your best interest to establish a pecking order within this group because looking at NY, where NYCFC will dominate the entire city, and then looking at Manchester, where you guys will always be smaller than United....well, let's just say I wouldn't bet on you being on top of this heap for long...

I don't think he was claiming that their League is up to the standard of the top European leagues.

Re: Frank Lampard (staying until end of season confirmed P11

I've been researching NYCFC's admission to the MSL and I have to say that the so called journalist sourced articles in the Telegraph and elsewhere are just total rubbish. Most of the NYCFC player roster has yet to be announced and they CAN add up to another EIGHT foreign players to the player roster before the season starts on March 6th.
<a class="postlink" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MLS_International_Roster_Slots" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MLS_Intern ... ster_Slots</a>

So - watch the space at the NYCFC web site..
