Is it any fucking surprise?

I went public with a snippet this week and got completely slaughtered.

Nope. Some things are better kept to yourself.

Oi i never slaughtered you!!

I would of slaughtered him, I love a good slaughtering!!!!

Anyway what did DD say, as I missed the first slaughtering and feel a bit left out now?

The owner has a totally different mind set to us He doesn't ask how many fans do Wigan bring as we won't be playing the likes of Wigan soon We along with other major clubs in England will be joining a European league we will be part of it and most games will be selling out coupled with the TV rights from around the world and the income from todays matches will look like small change. THats why Glazers will not sell and why the baron knights want in So stop worrying if it will sell out when we play Villa etc the future is Europe whether we like it or not.

Just been out for a couple of hours and got back to find all this mental stuff about a 100K stadium.

One thing is absolutely for sure. If the stadium ends up with a capacity of 100,000, then the plans Mansour have for City are a lot more 'radical', to use the term coined in other threads, than anyone has dared to speculate before today!

Tolmie, Dyed, I know you have good contacts. I'm guessing you're hearing things too, from your posts.

I'd keep this off the forum if I were you.

a 'European Super League' will never ever happen.

I wish people would stop going on about it.

Usual sources seem to be keeping very quiet at the moment. All I'm hearing is that we're in for something pretty sensational. It would have to be to justify building a 100K stadium.

I never get a pm :(

Tell a lie I once got one from Spursmad! Remember him :)

I once got one from someone saying they were going to twat me. They didn't but it was still nice to have one.

Can I join the pm clique?

Because there has to be a side that finishes bottom.

Doesn't stop the Yanks with NFL and the Superbowl does it?

That's been a system that has been used since the game started though.

I just can't see Real Madrid who are guaranteed a top 2 placing every year going into a league where they could finish 10th out of 10.

My view though, IP, is that it is all about £'s.

Who would you prefer to see play at COMS on a Saturday afternoon, Wigan or Real Madrid?

Which game do you think would generate the most revenue from day-trippers at our "attractions"?

I just think it is the logical next step.

Yeah, make it more clique-ie with secret pm's and a handshake - oooh and maybe an "inner circle" ring or necklace..

I love the whole, "I know something you don't know" stuff.

It really lets everyone know who the movers and shakers are and certainly lets me know that I know shit.

The vast majority know "shit" so we are in good company.

HO DEAR TOLMIE WHAT HAVE YOU DONE :)

Posted my own thread on this the other day, some of it resonates, other bits, not so.

I was on the phone to someone at City the other day (can't say who) and I asked her (clue) "what was the chance of us building a hundred thousand seater stadium?"
There was a short pause and her answer was "for the ticket line press one". Make of it what you will but deep down I knew she was really saying "Yes we are going to build a big stadium and we are going to call it Petetheblu stadium, big boy".

I'm not going to leave it there and will be on the blower later to see what else I can find out.

Pm me if you want to know more or if you know a good Psychiatrist.

I would be sorry to leave the English football even if we are asked to join any Super-League which in my view is doubtful, seeing as the rags have always maintained that Manchester is too small for 2 top sides.....in the English game, let alone a wider stage!
