If everyone is fit and we play a 4-2-3-1 we have Silva, Sterling, de Bruyne, Nasri, Navas and (depending on where you think he's best suited) Toure to deploy as attacking midfield players. In the defensive 2 there's the two Ferns, Delph and Toure. That's more than adequate strength in depth.The issue I have with 'The missing players' is that all teams suffer a similar fate during a season which is why we have squads. Yes we are stronger with Aguero and Silva, but as I keep saying surely we should be able to adequately replace them whilst keeping a similar formation with the squad we have.
Up front is the problem but you won't get a player at or close to Aguero's level to sit on the bench waiting for an injury to get game time. I hope Iheanacho gets a full game on Wednesday so we can see what he can do in a competitive scenario.
