Theo Walcott? ..

I hope not.

I don't generally bother with all this transfer speculation palaver but on this occasion I'm going to take exception. Theo Walcott runs very fast, but other than that I really struggle at times to see why Arsenal have put up with him for so long. He's tediously poor with his technique and I watched him play one game at the end of last season where he failed to complete a single pass. He would not suit our game or our style, he isn't even a traditional winger because he can't cross. I actually wouldn't even swap him for Sinclair.

I would be totally against any move for him, I just don't think he's good enough.

If he moves somewhere where he'll be used as a striker, he'll prevail in my opinion.

He'll thrive at Liverpool. Sterling on the left, Walcott on the right and Suarez in the middle. Very quick forwards and a few goals amongst them, especially on the break.

Wenger's naivity continues to baffle, as does Arsenal's ability to overachieve on a yearly basis.

With his dad being such a big Liverpool fan, I can see this happening.

Theo Walcott

From our B team.

Free transfer

He has pace, but so does Usain Bolt.

Pace

Selling sincalir in the summer and get walcott for free would be a good deal

Corrected for grammatical detail.

I agree however, though as I've said if Walcott were to come here he'd need to be utilised as a striker.

Ferguson sniffing around Walcott now that Arsenal are in the shit after last nights disaster at Bradford, if i was Mancini i would be in like a flash, pacy winger is just what we need now as watching us go forward is painful

Keep seeing Walcott compared to Sinclair and mentioned as a Winger. He's not signing a new deal at Arsenal because he wants to play as a striker. Why on earth would he join a different club to become a winger.

He'll go to whichever club wants to use him as a striker. My bet is Liverpool.

Would Rodgers play with two strikers up front at the same time? No way on earth Walcott would get a game over Suarez.

Does he (Walcott) really think he's top European club material? I don't think he is.

Since Mancini wont be with us after the summer - I doubt he'll be trusted with any more funds this winter.

I don't disagree, but what HE thinks is another matter. He strikes me as a bit sure of himself, when he is rather limited.

Whether they will play with two up is one thing, but they certainly need at least two strikers. They should be looking at the likes of Demba Ba and Walcott as cheap options that would improve them.

Wherever Walcott goes, it will be as a striker.

He's lightening quick and a good finisher, sometimes that's all you need. I've always said that Torres at his best was just unbelievably quick and a great finisher.

Walcott wasn't brilliant on the wings, he's not great at dribbling, but give him a run through the middle, with a little bit of work on the training ground on movement and positioning etc, and he can be a brilliant striker. He would score goals, I'm certain of it.
