You can’t get a new T6.1 now they’ve stopped taking orders but they can’t even lease the new Electric ones as they do around 30-40 mile per charge in the real world, Im in the market for a second hand VW and prices are slowly dropping but I won’t buy a euro 5 pre 2016 just in case the ULEZ in Manchester is forced in as it’s money down the drain then, eventually no one will buy any pre 2016 diesel in this country they will become worthless, they’ll then get shipped to a third world country who don’t care about emissions!I am not an advocate of EV's - the current ranges and infrastructures are inadequate - I am just pointing out that there are scare stories being bandied around about a charge yet to be levied. Maybe wait and see what the impact is.
VW vans are overpriced anyway coz the surfing set and day van converters love them. Most if not all new commercial vehicles would be bought they will be leased. Buying an ageing van with older batteries and running gear etc would be too much of a gamble for most businesses I'd guess
