So should City be punished when exuberant fans completely overwhelmed the security in place at the Villa game?

Only the British army or a large security fence could have prevented that. Also the season had ended hadn’t it?
The FA will argue that the fans in the stadium were under our control and, in the light of previous incursions on the last day, we should have taken extra precautions. As others have said, the ”assault“ of the keeper and the destruction of the goal posts ensured that we would be charged.

He's a good player but I wasn't overly impressed with him in both matches against City last season. It was as obvious as night following day that a shiny new toy would arrive at the swamp, infact probably another couple to still come before deadline day.
As soon as there's a bit of unrest over there, the Glazers shit it, lol
You could actually say that far from shitting it, the Glazers are playing a blinder. Get a couple of big name players in and all of a sudden it appeases the fans. For the time being at least. They've done this time and time again when the fans are getting restless and threatening protests, etc.

If it was a player moving from a 'smaller club', no European football etc... you'd understand it. However, you have to question the mentality of a player who has 'it all' at Madrid and picks United.

So obviously money orientated, when he's 35 years old he'll still be getting £300k+ a week, remember that when United a still in this mess 5 years down the line.

It's typical of the Rags to be jizzing in their pants over a signing like this! They'll never ever learn.

When you out things into perspective it's absolutely hilarious the signings they make and still being made.

They never go for a player that's motivated, ambition, wanting to improve themselves...Instead they go for a player that's 30, Has won the Champions League numerous times, Dropping into the Europa League and improved wages.

Comedy.

They're going to panic buy Casemiro for £75m on a four year contract, talk him up as one of the best midfielders on the planet, stick Erikson and Bruno in front of him and Maguire behind him, and then wonder why he's not the player he was. Varane all over again. Fred is going to go somewhere else and look half decent. What a club. Love it.
I wasn't far off.

He's literally won everything,.no one has won more CLs, and he's just won the lottery. Go live in the Cheshire countryside for for or five years. Lovely stuff.
