If this goes ahead you can guarantee Amazon will be all over the broadcast rights
I think the clubs would cut out the middle man and create their own broadcasting platform. They may form a partnership with someone like Amazon or Netflix but they would make the lion's share. I think this is what the whole project is really about.

good.

because even though I’m still on the fence on all of this, I am sick of sky having me by the balls to watch whatever game they choose, half the time it’s Burnley v Southampton or something.

its 2021 and sky still can’t show us a game in 4K or allow you to stream to a Chromecast even as a paying customer.

i’m all for someone sticking it to sky and bt and offering us a better product.

Careful before you slag this as you might get called 'small time'......

If we are involved then with my hand on my heart I can say I would rather watch us play whoever is left in the PL and the rest of the european clubs that get shafted. Europe may be the holy grail for the club and some fans but it isn't for me and even if we won this farce of a competition what sort of an achievement is it we will have beaten many teams who haven't even earned their place in it. The CL may have faults but the teams have earned the right to play in it for footballing reasons not because of past glory. I love City but in my eyes to join this is treating other clubs in the way we have been treated and in some ways worse because we know what it's like but are happy to pull up the drawbridge on clubs like West Ham, Leicester and Everton and shout, "We're okay now tough shit". Maybe the leagues won't stand firm it doesn't really matter this will never be right or fair and we have to admit we have become everything we loathed.
Absolutely spot on ..

I honestly think regardless of this announcement - UEFA should act accordingly and actually ban all the involved clubs from european competition for a set period (if the announcement tonight back tracks on this super league), and if the announcement says that this breakaway is happenning then a lifetime ban should be given - end of

The letter of intent that has been signed is enough to sanction such a ban

UEFA it is time to actually show that you want to run the game in a correct manner

No French or German teams... But it’s the European super league? get fucked

PSG can’t as their chairman just took a senior position at uefa

Bayern are presently at war in their boardroom with half arguing to join it now.

Very interesting all of this.

point me in the direction of their owners, managers and fans coming to our rescue over the past decade when fighting these people.

let’s s not forget Everton, villa and fucking Burnley wrote letters trying to screw us over.

They can fight their own battles on this, let’s focus on city
They said we should remain banned from the CL while appealing. UEFA were the ones that banned us. Until CAS overturned the ruling we were legitimately banned - it wasn't that unreasonable on the part of those clubs to think we should stay banned to be honest in my opinion.

Great news for our local non league clubs, you can add one to Bridge Celtics attendances next season. Looking forward to standing at the Bower Club with a Guinness watching the game, and not having to purchase 30000 “loyalty” points (lol) to get to away games.
Also not being that arsed if someone who only gets paid £100 a game can’t dribble, can’t hit a barn door, can’t tackle, can’t head a ball, can’t beat a goalie in a 1 on 1 etc etc etc
Tbf, if you've supported city since 1965 you'll have seen worse.
