The shit we've had thrown at us over the years since the takeover, I really shouldn't give a toss what happens to any other club. They all hate us and want us to fail. Subtle and not so subtle racist digs about our owners, plastic fans, no fans, the "we don't care about City" but we're going to post about them every day brigade. Read the comments under Pep's press conference for the usual bile.

Yet here most of us are, going against something that will probably benefit us hugely.

He is a giant in the sports world, bigger than Ronaldo and Messi. The guy is a sports legend, as are the others I’ve mentioned. You’d be in very small group of people that haven’t heard of them. As side, Payton manning is regarded by many as the best quarterback ever in the NFL. How anyone can say they arnt sportsman is beyond ignorant.

Said similar about Klopp earlier, this is exactly the sort of complete shite we do not need right now. Everybody opposed to this has to be in this together. put rivalries aside temporarily, they're petty in comparison and there won't be any rivalries if this goes through.

He's a player of influence in the game, captain of the soon to be dethroned champions and key instigators of all this, its absolutely brilliant that he's taking responsibility to band players together to see what influence they can have on it. I despise him as much as anybody but have nothing but admiration for this

'Legacy fan'. They are not interested in you, they want the new 'fans' or customers should we say who have never stepped foot in Maine Road, Etihad or even Manchester. The history or roots dont matter.

Dont forget in American sports they can create a franchise team and just stick it in the league. They move teams to other cities, with no regards for locals or fans.

Its like an internal war between the actual fans and the global newcomers.
