Tbf the window hasn’t opened yet! What's the holdup for this deal? Arsenal not willing to match our ask?

Doubled our money on him50M for is about right. Always tried his best and not complained about being rotated. He'll get a lot more game time elsewhere and i wish him well. Never quite good enough as a CF for us though tbh.
No chance that is accurate surely. They will likely have to pay some kind of premium on his wages due to no Champs League but that seems excessive!!is that guy reliable? because that's like 300k per week..
Good diver thoughExtremely overhyped player Saka. Not good enough for us
Saka is surely destined for the dippers one day thenGood diver though
Sounds about right tbh. They have cleared a ton of wages from Lacazette and Aubameyang etc.€300k+ (around £265k+) per week from the Arse? Too good to be true.
There's an imbalance of wages building up if the wages mentioned in a thread are correct.
Stones on 200,000 and Jesus on 90,000. Bernardo who everyone says is irreplaceable is on half of what Grealish gets.
You can understand certain players looking elsewhere,I'm not suggesting it's the primary motive but the difference between some of our top players are hard to comprehend.
They may have been as you say offered pay rises but that would mean they would extend their contracts. Something that Bernardo and Jesus maybe don't want to do for different reasons.Gabby and Bernardo have both been offered pay rises though.
Stones will be on whatever he gets paid because he actually signed the contract offered.
Grealish will be on massive wages because he was a marquee signing, unlike Gabby and Bernardo. We're not going to drop silly money on someone to pay them sensible wages.

I understand that wouldn't be ideal, but it could prove problematic. Not so much for new signings but for established players.Yes, that is a big part of increased wages. What should the club do, increase them anyway without the return on investment in contract length?

You mean when Haaland is out stuck with a system that won the last 2 leagues. So I think we'll be okay.Gutted to be losing Jesus, he’s been great for us and offers a lot with his movement. Now we‘ll be down to one striker again so when Haaland is out we’ll be stuck having to play square pegs in round holes again, unless Alvarez proves to be at least as good as Jesus.
Correct but it was Jesus that made it work. You mean when Haaland is out stuck with a system that won the last 2 leagues. So I think we'll be okay.
