PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

You get the definite feeling that even before they pressed charges fully they knew that they were going to come out of this badly, they were IMHO forced to do this by the red cartel because the red cartel threatened them with a breakaway league or some other nonsense.

When it all comes out I want to know who drove this, what meetings took place with the cartel and how far can we sue them to death so their clubs stop existing.

I dont think the full story will ever come out, its mutually assured self destruction that it never does, as much as the red cartel hate us, they need us at the same time

I think this has always been about certain clubs trying to get rid of an on-field and commercial competitor

I think its partly that BUT i have always said its much deeper than that, certain clubs have always been told that they are special and its given them a sense of entitlement, this has been perpetuated by a friendly press and sky employing their ex players and the idea that another club could not only surpass but obliterate their achievements just by being better run and employing smarter people has shook them to their very core, so they have to believe that its because we were cheating, its their coping mechanism because they are not ready to come to terms with the fact that their clubs are not special, not entitled and that they are just like any other clubs.

Eeeyyyeehhh, kind.....of. I feel the same way, I want the PL raked over the coals for this...

..but the fact remains Manchester City ply their trade IN the Premier League. It's our exposure to the world, where we play our games, and a credibly weakened PL weakens City. I thnk we're sick and tired of the focus of City being away from football matter and all about legal wranglings.

Unless City announce we're leaving the PL to join a Super League, we're going to play ball, for the time being.

Or quite simply burn the **** down :)

We could apply pressure to the premier league to give us names of individuals who pushed this with the end result of suing them in mind.

If that process of suing puts a club out of business then so be it.

I get the above and its something Ive being telling people but, what I don't understand is how the three man panel get together to write the verdict, or is it formulated and one of them writes it? If all three then it further explains the time scale

Makes you wonder if that was the cartels secondary aim? Primary win beat city in court. Secondary aim have us destroy the prem. and third drag us through the mud for as long as possible.

Just perhaps, if we’ve won we are looking to work with the prem on the exit of all this to clean house and have a more impartial team running things. And aided with the new watchdog.

All that said it would be nice to expose masters and any corruption linked between him and the yank cartel

Not sure the relationship with the PL is particularly cordial at the moment. The club has openly accused them of acting illegally, imprudently and against the interest of the league as a result of the APT case. They have recently accused the PL of putting in place rules that favour certain clubs.

If the club ever agreed to delay publication of the award as a favour to the PL, there would have to be a pretty serious gesture from the PL back to the club. Like a completely new executive structure and board.

Unlikely to happen imho, but what do I know?

Masters does. If they lose, he's gone. The fact he seemed happy and cheery enough doesn't suggest to me that they've won, but it would be a "soft signal" on here had he seemed bleak or not attended. It just suggests to me that neither the City or the PL know the outcome and we're still in that post boxing fight stage where both competitors claim victory before the decision.

That's my feeling as well; we have no love loss to the current execs and board of the PL, and will want nay demand, their removal as part of the healing process between league and club.

It's what i'd demand, anyway!
