How did it go?

Please tell me you survived.

I had had my first proper booze, smoke and meal out since stating today.
Had a great laugh but feel a tad guilty (and nervous about the coming hangover, been an all dayer)

Probably will have done you a favour(smoke aside...) a blow out periodically is good for the sanity, the problems only arise if it becomes a habit.......

Plenty of water for that Hangover!

I have 3 weeks done and haven't missed a day. The difference between a photo on day 1 and now is obvious. Have only lost a half stone at best, though some days half of that is back on! I always get through the 1st 12mins of the workout, but by time I get to further on in the workout and they take 30 seconds rest, I often have to pause for a min or two before I can continue. Is this ok?

try and get back on quicker as the key to this work out is your recovery. I doesnt matter if you slow down as long as you still do the exercise. Im sure a 45 second or 1 min stop is fine.

haha yeah I survived, but can't believe how different it goes from the fit test. This thing is really hard and tiresome. My body is so sore lol and my legs feel like there gonna explode but I guess this is normal... I hope :)

Yeah, normal I'm afraid, the first 3 days suck balls then you stop aching and start to improve. Stick with it, its well worth it.

I can still remember the look on my mrs face when we finished the first plyo dvd. I think if she had any strength left she would have strangled me in my sleep that night.
(she loves it now tho!)

First time posting in this thread. My hubby got me into this madness!! We are on the last week of the second month and it's only been the last few days or so that I've managed to give the circuits a good go. It still hurts doing the training but afterwards I feel fantastic and am starting to see the results. I would recommend to anyone (and have done)
We are planning to do the first month next week as there was a section of it I couldn't complete but now feel I am ready for it! Has anyone else done this just started the prog again? Just not sure I am ready to face The Asylum quite yet!

Completed the first week andi can already tell the difference.
However, I've now got a terrible pain in one of my Achilles' tendon. So bad I'm struggling to walk!
Going to Amsterdam tomorrow so not too fussed, but I want it healed or when I get back.
Anybody else suffered badly with the Achilles?

-- Mon Oct 22, 2012 2:48 pm --

first week was awful I could barely walk downstairs. I would say jump straight back in when you get back unless it is really hurting in which case go see the doc !

I think robbo had a bit of a break and then just started again.
maybe do the recovery week then start again so you dont wreak yourself.
Were in to the second to last week now and so are starting to plan what's next.

The mrs has got an exercise bike off ebay and is looking at spinning dvds to go with it.

I think I am gonna have a chat to a mate who is a boxing trainer and sort a programme out off him. I love insanity but back to back might be a bit repetitive for me.
I will do it again in the new year.
If you do go for asylum lease let me know if its any good!
