The squad is knackered and decimated by injuries, and we haven't adapted to that. Against form teams we should be sitting back and resting an extra attacker so that we can protect the back 4. We don't need all our attacking options on together, it's only sergio who is producing goals anyway.

Silva (much as I hate to say it) just made up the numbers yesterday, nowhere near good enough.
Otamendi needs to stop going to ground!! It's all he does, taking himself clean out the game leaving mdm to pick up the pieces with his zimmer frame.

Very problematic team setup with all the injuries... I think a solution may be moving Silva away from the wings and giving Iheanacho a run out. Also Iheanacho needs to be told to drop back deeper and play a bit further from goal. I'm thinking given the problems we need to try the following (honestly with the players we currently have at out disposal I can't seem to think of any other setup):

----------------Aguero--------------
-Sterling----------------Iheanacho-
------------Silva / Yaya------------
-------Fernadinho---Delph---------

Oh! And we need to make some changes at fullback positions.

I must say however that if the trophy isn't Manchester's I will be backing Leicester to win the title. Better them than Arsenal, Liverpool, Manure or Tottenham. Plus the underdog story is likeable and Ranieri is a really underrated coach.

The bare minimum fans expect from there team is 100% comittment and effort on the pitch, when was the last time we witnessed it?

It's blatantly obvious the players can't be arsed to roll there sleeves up for the cause , yesterday's game was the worst by a long stretch for a long long time.

It's like some sort of a happy jolly club these days with a manager so fucking clueless how to turn things around that it's become the norm , it's like watching a Frank Clark team -it's just now we are piece of dogshit rolled in glitter.

Third tier south stand now is devoid of atmosphere, as is the whole ground really , fans appear to be going through the motions , we expect us to click into gear but we have been saying this for twelve months now.

It's a fucking disgrace to be honest.

Never going to happen. Pellegrini is obsessed with one way of playing. Amazing attacking and entertaining football at all costs... However can somebody say to him that we are no where near this...

We better pray that we somehow put a performance together v Tottenham because right now they are head and shoulders better than us, I dread to think how the season will pan out if we get dicked in the cup final.

Leicester were great yesterday but I was so impressed with the midfield of Kante and Drinkwater. They have everything that our midfielders don't, pace, energy and amazing work rate. Even Fernandinho couldn't get near them.

Haven't been able to shrug off this feeling all week that Hart's comments were those of a man who feels his position is under serious threat.

I hope not, I'm a huge fan of Joe. Had dinner last night with a Bayern fan and he was saying that pep is being linked with a couple of different keepers, including Neuer. I explained how Joe was part of the furniture and he said that Pep was ruthless and that if he wanted a different keeper Joe would be out.

City were outplayed and out-thought. We lacked heart, bite, threat and the ability to adapt to Leicester's play. The title is in their hands, and for them to drop. We fight to the end.

I'm starting to fear that Sterling could be the biggest mistake we have made as a club in recent years, for the money we paid you'd of thought a first touch would of come with it.

Who's idea was it to send Roberts out on loan? They need to take a good look at themselves.

He really pissed me off yesterday. He made a couple of good saves to be fair but why did he punch it out in the lead up to their first goal when there was no one near him and why oh why does he keep kicking it long to Sergio? Is he really that thick or is he being told to do it?

See, I don't get this 'part of the furniture' argument. Joe is a quality keeper, but Neuer is a cut above any other keeper in the world. If we have a chance to bring Neuer in, then we do it. Simple as that. The same goes for every other position in the side. Do we want the best in the world or are we to let sentiment cloud our judgement?

Roberts clearly mustn't be showing enough quality in training to be given a chance. Sterling needs to be given free reign to play his game. He is shackled by Pellegrini's obsession with possession. Let him run at players and if he loses it from time to time as he did for Liverpool then so be it.

Can only be the manager, percentages , re gain possession further up the pitch.

He won't last long under Pep doing that that's for certain , he's very slow in releasing the ball , can he be coached to do it Peps way? Absolutely.

Our once strong spine;
Hart, kompany, slilva, toure, aguero
Is now hart and aguero.

The full backs legs have gone and this pains me as i love zabber, let alone no cb pairing ( injury taking its toll here).

Our attack from the back starts quick but is not direct enough, i.e beat a player then stop and pass it back.

Im so surprised we are still so close despite us not playing well.
We need to find some form, hunger and desire!

Kelichi and the other lad that made his debut looked sharp and hungry, so time to drop a few seniors and give them their chance with full games.

We still can do this!

Next time he has the ball take a look at the players and see what options he has. With the odd exception, they are a bunch of static twats with zero interest in making themselves available or offering options.
