He really pissed me off yesterday. He made a couple of good saves to be fair but why did he punch it out in the lead up to their first goal when there was no one near him and why oh why does he keep kicking it long to Sergio? Is he really that thick or is he being told to do it?

Perfect example yesterday, Kun is screaming for the ball, Hart is taking his time as usual and by the time he kicks long to Kun, the ball is easily intercepted by (I think) Simpson. Common fucking sense evades him at times, despite his class as a keeper.

I don't think Pep will judge his abilities alone however, I think he'll also assess his character and his influence on the dressing room. There's no doubting Joe's popularity amongst fans, players & staff but what if the amount of say he has behind the scenes is detrimental? City's own cabal so to speak of Hart, Touré & Vinnie? Club legends and fan favourites undoubtedly but Pep will probably need to put his foot down when he arrives.

Had a sleep on things prior to posting, as it's better to make a post when emotions aren't that high.

Here goes... I'm bemused why we're singing about Lamborghini's at 90 minutes having just had our arses handed to us because of pellegrinis selection and tactics. How some people can think pellegrini could be our greatest ever manager is beyond me? Outside of being a good man, as a manager he's taken/taking us drastically backwards, and isn't fit to lace Mancinis boots.

Yep, sleeping on things helps, as I was going to be a lot more scathing yesterday.

Can only be the manager, percentages , re gain possession further up the pitch.

He won't last long under Pep doing that that's for certain , he's very slow in releasing the ball , can he be coached to do it Peps way? Absolutely.

Percentages? We lose it 90% of the time. No other top side would do this. Even when United lump it long, it's to Fellaini who is good in the air. Sergio doesn't even jump half the time. It must be the manager but why? Pep has an unbelievable job to do in the summer. A major change in attitude and personnel. I've not been this pissed off with city for a long, long time. I couldn't get to sleep last night thinking about it last night and seriously considering knocking the away matches in the head after Kiev and Wembley. Why should I make massive financial and time sacrifices to commit myself to a group of players and management who think they can just turn up and win because we have the best players? That's a joke too as most of them don't even look technically good enough at the minute.

Totally agree with you mate, not proud in saying it as I'm a long stander like you but I wanted this manager out eighteen months ago and I've got used to feeling like you do so I really couldn't give a shit , yesterday was the straw that broke the camels back -funnily enough I said that after the Liverpool game too- never ever left a game with half an hour to go before even in the dark days but this guy is a fucking fraud .

I hope not, I'm a huge fan of Joe. Had dinner last night with a Bayern fan and he was saying that pep is being linked with a couple of different keepers, including Neuer. I explained how Joe was part of the furniture and he said that Pep was ruthless and that if he wanted a different keeper Joe would be out.

From everything I've read about Pep, he is ruthless. I cannot for one nano-second imagine he will come here and allow his impeccable cv to be ruined by failing here. No chance!

That means whatever and whoever is not working / not good enough is going to get chopped and replaced with better. Incidentally, with our management having such a strong strategy and vision for the club as well, I also cannot imagine us saying to Pep, "sorry you can't have xyz" and risking him (a) failing or (b) fucking off.

Basically, he's going to expect, demand and get, the very best in every department. No player barring perhaps Sergio is totally safe, IMHO. of course he can't replace all of them in 1 window, but in 2 or 3, he can and if they aren't cutting it, he will.

Bang on about Mancini, built a winning team and built a winning mentality, a tyrant he may have been but he's far far superior than this guy we have at the minute.

The best manager we have ever had my arse.

I think Kevin de Bruyne is also safe and I would say that Fernandinho's position is guaranteed.

Yaya is definitely out in the summer given he hates Guardiola.

My biggest question is how he will treat the youngsters. It must be said Guardiola has a great track record with bringing in young players into the fold. Hopefully Kelechi is given the standing he deserves.

Take out all the players who are injured, factor in that a number of those that are playing are past their best due to age and the effect of injuries and I find it hard to see why anyone should expect us to be challenging for the league.

In that case then player recruitment needs looking at , why the fuck they have been allowed to all age together is a fuck up, not adding two younger fullbacks is a fuck up, Bony and Fernando are fuck ups.

Mangala and Otimendi leave a lot to be desired.

Not playing some of our talented youth products is also a fuck up.

I think you are all going OTT over Pellegrini.
We have about 14 fit senior players according to pellegrini. That's the main reason behind our performances.
So why the f didn't we bring in a few on loan during the recent transfer window? I know KDB's injury was late in the window and Navas was last week but playing in four competitions with our previous injuries was several steps too far.
And we'd have a less tired squad if more kids were given a chance. We were four or five one up in a cup game and he brought on MDM rather than a youngster.

Are you Crmcfc as well as Inter me Nan ?

Quite odd if you are not as you continued straight on with his argument like you hadn't paused for breath.
I have not a clue what you are talking about were you drunk?

He could have juggled players today to give us a better chance of winning the game. His inclusion of Kolarov over Clichy was enough for him to be sacked on its own.
Unfortunately that's not going to happen so we've just got to keep our fingers crossed we can get over the line in the COC and stay in the top four.
100%

Under a decent motivational manager Sterling will pay dividends

The price was nothing to do with Sterling himself but I still think he'll come good..

The price we have to pay will go up under Pep I think. We need to introduce a brokerage system where clubs are sounded out about a player's availability and price BEFORE the selling club know the interested party

I appreciate the price thing that's not Sterling's fault. I really don't think he is arsed, the amount of 50/50s he ducks, the times he loses the ball and does even attempt to track back, he supposed to have this pace but when he isolates the full back he lazily just stands hoping our full back will overlap, his finishing is very poor, he does not anticipate a pass always on his heals a few seconds behind play, he falls over far to easily(we don't get genuine pens now as refs know he dives) and his body language is shocking.

He only came for the money as for as I'm concerned, people talk like he is 16, what is he 20? This should be it he should be performing now.

Still bloody annoyed by yesterday's performance. You can take results like that if you see the lads working hard and giving it everything, pummelling the opposition and just being unlucky but yesterday.....there was none of that. The first 90 seconds just sum it up and set the tone. Ya Ya bottles out of a 50/50 in midfield, their guy wants it more, Kolarov gets himself out of position (a sad portent of the utter guff to come from him yesterday lunchtime) and we are 1 down, all because of slackness and jogging around in midfield, unmitigated sloppiness all round.
So having got cold cold at the start of the 1st half you'd think we'd come out 2nd half and be on our toes...oh no, that would be too sensible. MDM starts off misplacing 2/3 passes of no more than 5 yard length in the first 60 seconds, Silva gets knocked off the ball too easily (this has been happening far too often since he came back at Stoke), Zabba loses out in a challenge he'd have won blindfolded 2 seasons ago, some other City player puts in a pathetic sliding tackle that wouldn't have knocked my 85 year old mum out of her stride and the guy is away...dismal defending all round.
I can't recall us going behind at home in the last 5/6 seasons more than we have this season, always in the first half as well. Jesus, as if that sloppy goal we lost within 55 seconds at West Ham less than 2 weeks previously didn't give us a wake up call about starting focussed and we go and do it again. Not good.
There have been warning signs for months about the way we are playing...scraping past Norwich at home, Watford away, Stoke away, Sunderland away etc etc....we really need to buck up our ideas big time for the run in and some players need to start producing more.

That starting line up should be performing better than that 14 fit players or not.

Don't know if it's already been mentioned but did anyone else see Joe Hart encouraging the fans to get behind the team when we scored? That almost sent me completely over the edge. For him to have the nerve to ask us to get behind that shambles in the 87th minute after we'd been absolutely tonked is ridiculous

Would have been no point asking me, I was back in my apartment by then! Left after they scored the third. No point hanging around to see us loose.

We have bigger problems than Hart, but he is a problem. I think he really is that thick tbh.

City were outplayed and out-thought. We lacked heart, bite, threat and the ability to adapt to Leicester's play. The title is in their hands, and for them to drop. We fight to the end.

Fight from the beginning and then build from there, these cowards fight

The youngsters have got to be good enough though. I don't see anyone pulling trees up in the EDS.
