I do think it’s bollocks too but a friend of mine in Germany was glad to see the back of Pep because he said that Bayern would never win the champions league under Guardiola.. coincidence??

No team can complete in all competitions. The squads are not big enough and the actual competition is too much when it gets to the business end of things.
 
We must just be very fortunate to be getting away with being top of the league and in a second Champions League semi-final in 12 months without a striker...

Imagine if we were any good and only losing by one goal with half a team missing against the greatest team ever to play the game, having given them a three goal head start?

This team and Pep will not let us down this season.

Let Liverpool take all the plaudits, we will take the two trophies that matter.

Disagree. We gave it a damn good go, and we DID compete for the quadruple. We just didn't succeed.
Liverpool are doing the same, and they are certainly competing.
I think both teams are setting new standards and showing it IS possible. Just because it's not been done yet doesn't make it impossible.

Alarming amount of posters on here throwing Pep, the team, the club and the fans under the bus.

Simple fact is that if the Dippers had played that intense 100mins against Atletico, City would be in the final.

If the FA had organised the minutes respect better, then it would have gone off impeccably.

If we hadn't taken so many knocks on Weds, then Pep would've fielded a very different team.

Pep and the players walked through walls for us in Madrid, only THREE fucking days ago.

I fucking love my club, the coach, the players and our supporters (well, those that actually make an effort to go). It appears that there are some on here who just want to take cheap shots and slag off our own.

Get a fucking grip and get behind our club.

If we play to our potential we will win the league, beat Real and win the CL.
 
Perspective. 23 years ago we were playing Gillingham to get out of Division 3. 11years ago we had not won a trophy for 44 years. Today we lost a semi final with a weakened team. In 10 days we play a semi final in the champions league after playing 2 league games that if we win will keep us top of the league. Disappointed yes, downhearted never.

I'd rather he played the kids in the cup games and give them the experience.

However we did get drawn harder teams than Liverpool.

They got Benfica and we got Atletico that kicked the shit out of our players.
