It seems strange that Partay initiated contact last year by not playing the ball as Kevin was about to strike for goal. Result- no penalty. It's the inconsistencies of the decision making thats most annoying.
Agreed on the inconsistencies. It’s what makes all fans mad, but until refs are AI, decisions for the same tackle will be seen differently. The referee doesn’t have the knowledge or time to refer to a tackle made a year ago. It’s purely given by what and how they see it.

Agreed. It doesn't make it any less infuriating though.

There’s no inconsistency. City player initiates the foul = no penalty. Opposition player initiates the foul = no penalty.

perfectly consistent.
 
Darren England tomorrow hes the one involved in the offside goal as the VAR official that cost the scousers so he owes them one
