I see it as somebody has to take the blame because of the unrest and fans protesting, It is always the same with them blaming somebody and making the fans happy, Jim Ratcliffe is the Glazer's puppet and having him front of house works great for them,

Great News, POGBA is back for more

Perhaps ive just not been paying attention but this news of ashworths departure seems to have gone right under the radar, literally only just discovered it as I saw the motd2 discussion on the BBC website. Even the glazers in blazers wasn't this comical. Wait 6 months for your man, pay through the nose to get him in early then sack him after 5 months, giving him a massive pay off before he can even do anything. There's not a blue alive that could have wrote that script any better. Please never change.

They sacked 250 staff to make savings. Ignoring any redundancy payments, if the average pay was as high as £40k, they saved £10m in wages.
Then they sacked the manager and his staff - after giving him a vote of confidence - who'd spent £200m recently on more shite players - then appointed the new man, and the cost of this exercise was the best part of £25m.
Now, they've sacked the Director of Football they'd chased - and paid loads for - and will have had to pay up on his contract after just 5 months. That exercise - £5-10M?
The financial mismanagement is off the scale.
Then, they have the temerity to tell their unwashed hordes, "Sorry - no more concessionary ticket prices; minimum entry forthwith is £66 each."
How the fuck does scruffy Jim manage to accumulate £1B with financial acumen like this?
Maybe he's not been wearing his adding-up head just lately - someone tell him that it's the one with the red and white bucket hat on top, with the straw-hair sticking out of it.
Scum.

There’s a long history of successful businessmen who lose their heads when taking on their favourite club. Peter Ridsdale of Leeds bankrupted them but he “lived the dream”.
