Classic case of panicking in front of goal rather than just "passing it" over the line. Should be very coachable and agree with previous post that Mancini should set him a target of 12 or 15 this year. He should be able to walk a few into the goal with his skills.

Heading up the 101 to San Francisco this afternoon for the match. Will be my 4th time to catch City live in 18 years of following them but the first time I don't have to fly to do it. Hoping to see Silva, Balo, and Swp on the score sheet tonight.

Used to like the guy as he briefly played un the same amateur league in washington dc that I played in. Seems he's just trying to get attention by jumping on the bandwagon of city-bashers.

I've seen others make the point before that if Silva could learn to shoot like he passes, he'd be another Messi. If we can get 10 each out of Silva, Yaya, AJ, and Kolarov, plus 15 to 20 from Balo and Dzeko, then we'll be just fine without Carlos. Is that too much to ask?

I went to see the Giants at AT&T Park last night. There is a huge billboard just across the block advertising the City match. Was already looking forward to the match but that got me even more ready. What time will the drinking start up in North Beach?

I bought 3 today off the Giants ticket website. Don't think there will be a City section per se but we can choose a pub near AT&T Park before the match as I did with some Blues in Portland last year. Glad I won't have to travel this year and looking forward to seeing a few more of the first...

Bolton are dangerous, but I see that as a good thing for City. We've been better on the road than at home lately because teams have played openly on their home pitch. Bolton's style should allow City to turn on the style. 3-1 City Petrov to score for Bolton

Would have loved the 3 points, but, on the balance, Stoke earned a point. Tuncay's touch was class and not a lot of blame for that goal. For me, Balotelli was the weakest link today. Once he comes good, we'll begin to win consistently.

Team really fought through this one. Think it will solidify the ranks going forward. Richards in particular had a blinder and Bridge did better than usual. Could turn out to be a real positive.
