Well, the peak Agüero was obviously better than peak Kane, but Agü hasn't been at that level for about 2 years now, so it doesn't make much sense, because Kane is definitely better now.No i am suggesting that multiple title winning goals and triumphs suggest that Aguero is better than Kane....it was the OP that suggested that one season stats meant that it was a step up.....
Do you actually believe that Harry Kane is a better centre forward than Sergio Aguero if both are fit...even now. Id argue that he isnt and that Kun is still the better forward all around. ts easy to get blinded by stats but just look at how they play.
Look at who they score against if you want to look at stats -(which Ive posted before - Kanes record against the top 6 teams pails in comparrison nest to Agueros (infact Messi from a different league altogether has scored more against the top 6 than Kane) - and i had posted the caveat that I cannot find a goals to game ration for that comparrison however. But at least these stats are spread out over a longer period of time to make them more realistic thatn one seasons worth.
it shows that Kane does very well against the midtable and bottom of the table teams but when it comes to the top 6 (baring Leicester and Arsenal) he doesnt do very well.....and its here is where it will really count.
