Pretty fair season my fellow Blues? Finish above the vile Rags AGAIN, and qualify for Europe. Things could be worse! Roll on next season.

I remember when he took over from Bert Trautmann. He was an incredibly gentle soul. Apart from the plumbing, he was very fond of ( and good at) drawing and painting, especially with water colours. RIP Harry, and condolences to all your family.

Man after my own heart St.Helens! I'm old enough to have been brought up to believe that the FA Cup was the most important trophy in the world, and I see no reason to change that! Yes, yes, I know that Europe is where all the money is etc......BUT........funny old game eh what?!

I was lucky enough to see both Matthews and Finney when I was a lad. And Greaves, and, of course, the great D.Law against us. And Best WAS pretty special, although,as discussed, he never shone against us.

Dave Ewing's b e post brought it all back to me! I remember that game too! Young and Waggy together, and on song, were just fantastic. RIP and condolences to family and friends.

Re: Thank You Carlos Agree with Kemmyn......perhaps it shouldn't be the case, but since the scarf incident at the Cup Final I was never able to just judge him as a player. Great shame all round, but, Juve have got a bargain.....if he behaves himself!

There is a fantastic feeling of excitement and anticipation already though! Yippee!!

It would be quite something if the players actually looked as if they wanted to be playing for City again!
